    Drove an EQS580 this past weekend. Not really impressed. The exterior does not equate to 130k. The back seat legroom feels like an E class. Dunno, I just wasn't impressed with the car overall. My model Y performance feels like there is more rear seat legroom. Taycan GTS vs this, I am leaning towards the Porsche for my next car since the legroom sucks in the EQS.

    • @ramkumarshriswaminathan4244
      @ramkumarshriswaminathan4244 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There cannot be more leg room in model Y for sure since it just measures 4.75m versus 5.22m of EQS. And taycan is 4.96. And you can't also blame EQS for its lack of utilisation of space since it has the shortest bonnet in length. One thing that you could complain about is the inclination of your knees since batteries take up the space at the bottom and you have much less space between seats and floor.
      If you still insist on the legroom problem in EQS I think you have mistakenly understood in your test drive or something wrong with the settings.
      Please redo your test drive.

It's very obvious s class would have more room under the seats because of lack of batteries and a bit more knee room as well since it's a traditional sedan. The problem for me was comparing it with model Y and taycan. You feel like that may be because the seating position in both of them are at SUV height and hence you feel like you could comfortably place your feet under the seats.

    To me the Tesla Model S exterior looks better. Still great to see others coming out with EV cars.

    lol Tesla is not the benchmark for Mercedes electric S-Class. But yea tesla Model S has the same letter, and that's the only thing in common.

    Can I ask: has anyone here ever drove 0-60 in the fastest time they could on the street?
    I haven't, so not sure what this number actually gives an indication of.
    Lap times, sure. It shows that the car is fast AND can handle which means its designed well, and will be fun to drive, fast or slowly.
    But 0-60, totally pointless.

    It just looks terrible to me inside and out. Looks like a dead fish on the outside and a hyper screen? So it’s ok for to text and drive then I’m assuming? And in this case, Amg is just a name. There’s nothing really Amg about it, an electric motor is nothing special at all. Definitely meant to lease and not own. Kind of a bummer.

      Not possible because of huge air filter unlike Tesla which has a very miniscule filter compared to EQS.
