The ghostkeel blank damage ability needs to happen prior to saving throw
The LGS we used to play all wargames at (BattleTech, 40K, Blood Bowl, even a little Epic) made a 4'/48" x 8'/96" table. We had a ton of GeoHex terrain plus tons of GW terrain for both 40K & Epic.

My big issue with Epic is that it's set in the Hours Heresy. Put it in 40K and I'd be vastly more interested.

For the Tau crisis suits, if not overcharging all the time is optimal why not replace some of the cyclic ion blasters with plasma rifles ? Say, out of the 13 weapons on the commander and 3 crisis suits have 7 cyclic and 6 plasma. If you save a command reroll for an overheat they shouldn't kill themselves at anywhere near the same rate and will likely still kill most targets.

Thing that lost this for the tau was that unessecary overcharge on the crisis. No need to do that to kill the hell blasters.

My issue with epic is that they are already bearly supporting heresy now they put another game in that setting
Those Tau are printed so poorly 😭, Those layer lines are really noticable on the curves.
Not to mention the weapons :(
