You're always so respectful of these houses. I'm glad the owner understood that you meant no harm. It is a shame that people keep pulling them down in order to rebuild, instead of restoring the origional. Btw- I think it's actually better to do the intro clip from home, after the house tour. Hi Ethan This house is beautiful. I love the kitchen the best. It’s so big and roomy. I actually did see Carlo’s version about a month ago. On his I saw you talking to the neighbor but I didn’t hear that you lied to him telling him that your grandfather lived there. The pool must have been beautiful and the pool house was great too. Ethan were you on Long Island yesterday, Sept.12, because in the parking lot of where I work I saw a Black SUV likes yours it was a Porsche and the license plate said ETHAN PT. I immediately thought of you. I saw a guy getting out of it and didn’t get a good look at him. I’m curious was that you? If it was I missed my chance to meet you. It was probably some other Ethan. Anyway thank you for bringing us along on this exploration with you and Carlo. It sure is a cool house and is a dirty shame they are going to demolish it. Stay safe and well.👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😊❤
Keep educating people about what you do and why. The right people appreciate everything you do. Not to mention, your good at what you do. My first experience with you and abandoned homes, was the one you did of the development (on the water?) that was “sinking into sink holes”. Thank you Ethan. 😊
Thanks for revisiting this home. It's a shame there's been damage done inside. I remember the beautiful tilework and what a gorgeous home it must have been when new. Great work Ethan. 😉
WHAT IS UP ETHAN AND CARLO?? BEEN FOLLOWING YOU FROM TEXAS FOR A LONG TIME!!! CAN NOT WAIT FOR YOUR 100K VIDEO ❤🎉SOOO EXTREMELY PROUD OF YOU AND EXCITED AND HAPPY HAPPY WOOHOO!!!!!!!
I love the brick and design of the exterior. Those colored fixed windows,or whatever they are called, are so cool and retro. This home has so many truly quality and beautiful architectural features 🤩They definitely don't build them like this anymore, unfortunately. I hate to see this one go😔✌️
Absolutely beautiful property. Such a shame its going to be torn down for more cookie cutter houses, with no character. I would update appliances, paint, clean, I just love it. Thank you for the wonderful visit and video. Blessings to you Ethan, and Carlos too. You are the best! You stay safe.
Congratulations on 100k subscribers! 🎉 Pretty awesome that you spoke with the original owner and builder of the home! The bathroom with the bidet so far from the toilet! I imagined someone penguin walking to the bidet after they go! Lololol. Very nice home with many unique features! Love the kitchen as well! On a side note, you've a very cool car collection!
Ethan here’s an idea is it possible for you to revisit the place you have shown us that are now demolished and new building put up let’s see the before and after , I know you won’t be Able to go inside but just the outside would be suffice , again it’s just an idea thank you .
It was great that you could speak with the owner and it went well. After your intro, I thought more about the time and effort people spent to make it a nice home and all the memories in these old places. It sounds like the old man came to terms with that. I'd gladly live in that pool house. The last shot of the rubble, there goes another classic home.
I may be forced into a situation where I need to sell my childhood home in Calgary, with interest rates the way they are, I might have the metaphorical gun to my head if things don't shape up in a couple of years. If that happens Ehan, I will get in contact with you because I know it would just be slated to get knocked down by the developer who keeps knocking on my door. I'd love to be able to give you the guided tour and tell you all about the place, and the various stages along the way since 1979. I really hope that I don't have to sell, I love that house, but if it can be immortalized in any way, I'd like it to be on your channel.
Ethan! I love your square body truck collection. I had to zoom in! I can’t watch this one again because I saw Carlos video it looked like it had been busted up since you first filmed it. :(
Awesome house but how did it get so vandalized if the owner lives next door? I would imagine he would have heard/seen something. And with all that's left behind? Such a shame the condition but I do love this house. I LOVE the brick arch in the kitchen
I love your videos , you go into so many facets of the houses ,,, it's almost as if you're talking about a person because some homes have so much character and personality !!! It's heart breaking to see the end result ,,, we all know it's coming ,,, but something that should stand and have multiple generations in it for 100 years or longer ,,, it's truly a shame to see it destroyed for a cookie cutter McMansion that's of low quality with a high price tag !!! Thank you so very much for all that you do !!!!! Russ Corbett
Interesting home....Just don't understand people destroying so many homes! So much waste. Things like this just don't happen very often around where I live. Thanks so much Ethan! You do very nice work❤
Excellent story. I always wondered if you guys ever got yelled at or chased off property. If you ever came across squatters or junkies in these homes. If cops every showed up. I think what you, Noah and other explorers do serves a wonderful purpose. It’s a record of history. Eventually there will be nothing left. I love seeing old homes. I love home architecture and design. If it was up to me, I would go to home that are up for sale just to see what they look like 🤣
I remember that house and all the snow around the pool. It’s a nightmare of mine to fall into such a disgusting pool. I wish they would drain these pools rather than leaving them to stagnate into a Petri dish. I loved that kitchen so cool and really big for its time. Some wild tile in that house especially the floors. Those shiny tiles don’t seem to age much in fifty years. Overall a cool house but sad to see it reduced to rubble. Could have been quite nice to see restored. Thanks Ethan for sharing. Take care be well and stay safe.
