Back in the 60s my Aunt had a green ceramic tree, like the white one you found. She would cube salami, ham and different cheese, stab a tooth pick in it and put it in the tree, so you have a tree full of appetizers! It was a nice Christmas decoration and served a purpose, too!
Wow the beaded tree with the dome glass cover 4.50! Love that you found some matching green ceramic trees for your decor! Cracks me up to hear you talking about the old table cloth from the 90's, was raising my family then, now 70almost 71. Great finds those trays are fabulous!
Hi Peg! Thank you! My mom just turned 70 a few weeks ago! I think that's why I love it so much because it reminds me of when I was a kid. My mom always decorated to the max for the holidays and I still love it! 😀
@@floridapickers876around the 16 minute mark (right before you bought one wii game for a dollar), you were looking at things on a table and on the left front corner of that table there was a really nice set of three pieces of stoneware with geometric shapes and nice colors. Did you notice that at all and aren't interested or did you miss it? I'm so curious what that was and if it was worth money! 😆
The white tree with the glass covering is absolutely gorgeous! Outstanding piece and price 😮 in fact all of the items you bought is amazing. Have a fantastic week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hi Jen! Thank you!! No, we passed on the purse because it was $30 and I didn't know it was half off at that point. Once I realized, I went back to get it but it was already gone 😢
I'm a South Pinellas picker. I'm in my 70s & have been picking for 40+ years. Tastes change & I watch these videos & learn from younger pickers what to look for. Johanna Parker puts a smile on your face & some pieces sell for good money. I learned that from my daughter-in-law. So, tuck that away.
Another TH-cam reseller suggested shipping breakables with foam as padding. I buy unused foam mattress toppers at garage sales and, if necessary, I buy it from Walmart. It has worked so far.
Hi Karen! The grinch is great! Have you ever got to “meet him” at universal? I’ll have to look for that other one, I haven’t heard of it before. Yes, it was a great deal so I couldn’t leave it! ❤
I keep collapsing crates in my car. I have that tablecloth, that makes my marriage vintage. List the tray & holder for $150 but give it a year to sell. It might take that long for someone to stumble upon it since it is so unique.
That would work great for one or two pieces, but can you imagine wrapping all that dinnerware individually in foam? They planned to, and were able to sell it locally. Great idea, tho.
Hi Travis and Stacey loved the sound of the crow in the background the leaf dinner set look lovely we have just watched the Grinch today we also watched a film called it happened one Christmas dated 1977 it was a remake of it's a wonderful life the film it happened one Christmas on TH-cam hope you can find it can say instead of James Stewart playing the role it was a lady and it was very cleaver on how they did the film good bargain on the dinner set bet if you said $10 they probably would have accepted it by them saying make an offer you definitely got a good bargain with the set loved the bag was very big glad you found some Christmas decorations those bauble storage tubs looked really great
Hi Betty! Yes, it's still available. So sorry, we forgot to include it in the comps at the end. The link to our store is in the video description and in our profile. You can see all of our listings there. Thank you.
I’ve been watching you two for a while now and I enjoy your videos . I was kind of disappointed that you walked away from that Lefton Holly dish set knowing the husband wanted to get rid of it . Then instead of giving them $30 which they wanted , you offer them $20!!! To me that’s so wrong after I saw on EBay what some of the pieces are worth . They were such a sweet couple too. I’ve been selling at Flea Markets and having garage sales most of my life . Back then we called resellers ,dealers . I couldn’t stand dealing with them because they would offer you half or less what I was asking for the items. Then take them back to their booth in the next row and sell it for triple or more what they paid . Never giving anyone a deal . Your video motivates me more to keep selling my items on Marketplace . I don’t want my things being sold to a reseller for a dollar , after I worked hard all my life to buy the stuff.
They couldn't decide if it was worth the hassle. Comps on eBay isn't an issue, it was time and effort. If they walked away and no one ended up buying it could've ended up in a landfill. The seller just wanted it gone and was happy to let it go for that price!

That makes sense! I bet it looked great on her table!

I love hearing you keep stuff you find! It makes it so fun!
I wish I could keep more but I just don't have the storage space lol

Blessings both of you.
Thank you, Rowland! 💜
@@floridapickers876 you are welcome.
Maybe the tree with toothpicks was for hordeurves or fruit. Beautiful items.
Yes, I think you're right, Teresa! Thank you!
Did you buy the beaded purse? It was so nice. Love all of your finds, especially all of the Christmas trees! Thanks for sharing! ❤

So many fun items. Great job!

Great finds at the estate sale! And I love the holiday china.
Thank you, Jan!

The lady selling the Christmas plates etc is from the uk

I think you’re right about the tray holder! It will probably take that long 😅 I love that you have the same tablecloth, it’s so fun!
Those were some loud ravens.
Crows
Loved the video, so happy for you
Thank you, Phyllis! ❤️
I just found a Westrim beaded Christmas tree starter kit this past weekend for $10, listed it and it sold in less than 8 hours for $110.
Score! Nice find, David! 👏
That see through Christmas tree candle holder looks like it has a bunch of mini bongs for limbs.
I can see that 😅

Happy to give a thumbs up 👍🏻
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I would have went back and picked up that bose system.
Someone else had already grabbed it after I found out it was 1/2 off 😢 or I would have!
What are the wicker trays used for?

Walmart carries ornament keepers for pretty cheap. So does Temu if you shop that site. They are really cheap.
Thanks Molly!
Maybe all those items were at the last estate sale, like yiu buyers didn't know it was half off! Great scores!
That’s very possible! Thank you, Janine! ❤
I would love yo get the tree in the glass container if still available

Great finds for sure.

Thank you, Annette! ❤
I was so nervous u wasn't going 2 get the holly set. But you did
I’m glad we did! 😅
Soooo nice❣️ 👍😍🌲❤️
Thank you, Rozani!
You’re most welcome. 🙂
Just curious at what percentage you promote your items?
Hi Stacey! We promote at 2% usually. If it's a rare item we don't promote it.
@floridapickets876 Thanks!! I have been doing 4% and just upped some to 5% to see if sales increased.
👋 hi kids!
Hey Kerry! 😀
What what that noise? Birds??? Eeek.
Hi Susan! I think it was crows 😬 They are everywhere in FL!
Nothing is worth anything, until the buyer buys it

Wow! You're really negative. This is how it's done, it's the nature of the beast. Stop your senseless rants about it.

@ your right , but I really don’t think they would throw it away . Most people would donate it before doing that .
