Bro., that’s why I chose not to do bulk deliveries when I started. I had no desire to handle cords of wood. My business model is bundles and 1/4 cords only. All of my wood is split small,…averaging about 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Everyone in my area basically quarters up firewood, and then sell it for what they can get. They know that it takes time to split it smaller, but choose not to. I command a premium for what it sell,…and the product sells itself. The proof is that I can sell a “cord” of Aspen for two to three times the market value, and $100-$200 more than a single cord of oak. I bought into Joe’s business model of “the smaller you split your wood,…the more valuable it becomes.” It’s been so true for me.
Good video 😊 What’s your opinion on a customer saying wood you sold them won’t burn. And it’s the same firewood you are burning yourself currently, and you moisture tested it before delivery at about 12% average. Advice? TIA
@@cutNdryfirewood I would stand behind my product. I would ask for video proof / ask to come see in person. If you are 100% your wood is dry I would not worry. I would hope they aren’t trying to pull one over on you but people these days are different. I always make sure my customers are happy before I leave and agree everything looks good.
Good talk Tom!👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Look forward to watching your business grow Tom, keep us posted 💪
Thank you !!
