True to the original Lego spirit, I'm always more interested in alternative builds. Now that I know I can use the 10295 to build a Countach or a Corvette without buying more pieces, it became a no brainer to me. A white Countach is a dream to stare at.
This video was good and helpful with the comparisons you made with other cars. I was thinking about getting the mustang, but now i think i like the Porsche more. Thanks for the video.
I think it’s an awesome model. I’ve got 3 Expert vehicles - VW Campervan, Mini Cooper Mark VII, and VW Beetle. I’m picking up the London Bus and Aston Martin next month for the Amelia Earhart promo, and intend to get this eventually.....
Great video, I guess I need to build mine. The box has been staring at me from the day I picked it up last week. Definitely going with the hard top. It is a sweet car
Hey Alex, you solved the which one to build problem before with the Pirates of the Caribbean ship. You buy two, therefore you end up with both versions.😂😂👍👍
I just built the 911 Targa and love it. Eventually, I’ll build the Turbo, and maybe a base 911 coupe that I’ve seen done. One easy mod that nobody talks about are the wheels. I swapped the gray Targa wheels out and put on the Turbo black wheels, and they look better with the Targa, I think, because of the black roll bar and roof.
I really liked building this set and it is a great edition for car lovers, I understand why they chose white but like others which it was Blue or Black.....I do recommend the Ferrari 488GTE...great build.....Looking forward to upcoming Speed Champions because Lego obtained the Koenigsegg license!
When I bought it, I didn't even know Turbo was an option. But the Turbo is the iconic version of the car for me. So Turbo was a no brainer for me once I found out it was an option. That's how I built it and that's how it'll stay.
One little nitpicky complaint about the model: they only give you one printed USA/New York plate, and one printed Japan/Gunma Prefecture plate, but both New York and Japan require both front and back plates; they should have included 2 each. (Not that big a deal for me because when I get this I intend on displaying it with the German/Stuttgart plates anyway.) But thought it worth mentioning. I kind of would like the idea of having it with the New York plates as that would give it continuity to the VW Beetle and Ford Mustang, but being that I already have the Ecto-1 with New York plates and this is a German car, would prefer to go with the German plates in this case. (I made an exception with the VW Beetle, using the USA/California plates just because I thought it went well with the surfboard and cooler, but generally I prefer to use plates that match the country of origin if I have the choice.) It's still a great model and this minor thing wouldn't ruin it for me lol but still the OCD part of me couldn't leave this part unmentioned. Maybe if you want to go with the New York or Japanese plates you can trade your spare plate with someone else for the one they're not going to use. Love that this set has zero stickers: they're all printed, including the license plates! I'd probably prefer the Turbo for 3 basic reasons: 1. I think the Turbo is the more "iconic" look for the 911; 2. Not a fan of the segmented look of the rear window of the Targa because of how it's built; 3. the hard top Turbo will protect the interior from dust lol (I own a lot of Lego models and this has to be a consideration!).
I built the Targa without hesitation. It's the only open top vehicle in this line. I also don't like the flat line of the underside of the turbo roof due to piece limitations. It's a shame they couldn't come up with a way to maintain the iconic window line
I thought the same thing, but after Building the GT3 it is still a great build, I actually did some research on Building a Blue version and ordering parts from Bricklink.....way to expensive
If I like the 1989 batmobile which is my planed first expert vehicle set which I plan to get this summer. I might get the mustang just because it was actually myvuncles first car.
I wish it comes with the part to have the front wheel guards look the same as the back. That's how the small Speed Champion one looks and I love that design more.
*I will start with the good parts, stay tuned for the 'but'* It looks pretty nice in standing position, also the cockpit instruments the gear etc well done. I do like the interior the seats and their color. The Motor of the first version you built is a bit lame, maybe to create a bigger difference to the turbo version!? All in all still a nice model! *But...* ...the part that I find unacceptable is the *plague of color underneath* and even of none visible parts. If I want to modify anything I can't use those parts in any visible position. With a decent manual you can build everything even with peaces of a single colour! *There is no justifiable reason for that many 'wrong' colored peaces* from consumer point of view. Especially not *for that price!*
Love how so many profess their love of Porsche but still cannot pronounce the family name properly. It's not POORSCH...it's PORSCH-UH. Jeezus Xmas, do your research.

German viewer here, your pronunciation of the word "Porsche" hurts a little. The final E is not silent and the word is two syllables. To English ears it sounds something like "Por-shuh". Otherwise, as always, a nice review!
I built the RSR last week and frankly...after not building legos for ages I've decided I don't really like technic much anymore. I miss the feel of real bricks.

My favorite is the speed champions version. It's minifig scale and fits right within my budget. Lol.
That’s exactly why I bought it. I love the 911 turbo but not enough to spend $150 on it. I’ll take the $15 version
Love that you compare it with the other Porsche models out there and give everyone options! Great video Alex!
Nice video, thanks for sharing! DB5, Mustang and Porsche... all Mike Psiaki creations.
Don't forget the VW Beetle (the 2016 version).
This video was good and helpful with the comparisons you made with other cars. I was thinking about getting the mustang, but now i think i like the Porsche more.

Don't forget the Mustang, believe me
@@sebastianp.7880 hahaha trust me I won’t it’s a beauty I intend to get soon
It's beautiful 😱😱😱!!!

Turbo! I look forward to building it.

That is expensively true!

Love the Mustang and Porsche. Poor Aston looks like a block of wood next to them. It really needs to be 2 studs wider.
I’m having issues with step 5 and can’t figure it out
Alex, love your videos and ratings. Could you compare this Porsche 911 with the blue VW beetle, for scale-wise science, please?

Love the white with black wheels. Classic.
I will get the mini one some day
Nice! 👍
Turbo for me

Jimmy Broadbent brought me here
I wide bodied the green speed champions set
I love this set. But I don't get why the orange pieces on the back weren't transparent orange! Not an available piece I guess?
Do you have the Surf Beach House 31118? What do you think about it
I have one,of these there soo great
Nice. Do you keep up with your collection on brickset
No, but I really need to do this.
@@alexnunes yes you do. Free website. Would love to know your stats

I just can't get this in white. So many colors and they picked white. They'd have my money if it were any other color.
I thought the same thing, but after Building the GT3 it is still a great build, I actually did some research on Building a Blue version and ordering parts from Bricklink.....way to expensive
I prefer targa
Cool
is it just me or does the turbo look better with the silver rims instead of black?
Hopefully, Alex Nunes make a review Alex Top 10 LEGO Creator Expert Of All Time...in the future.
Targa is the best for me.
Who’s to say that buying a second one so that you can display both iterations of the build is unreasonable...🤷🏻♂️💁🏻♂️
I probably buy 2 sets, one Targa dutch police car (modding with orange doors) and the Turbo

The gt3 rs is now like $700 it doubled in price
I’m kinda biased towards the speed racers one because it’s the only one I have (and can afford)
Targa for me
Like Turbo mostly...
Turbo/Targa windscreen should have been curved and not resemble a Landrover or Jeep!!
I wish it comes with the part to have the front wheel guards look the same as the back. That's how the small Speed Champion one looks and I love that design more.
Based on pictures I've seen this is more accurate to the actual car.

I much prefer the Technic cars and I am still salty about how ugly the latest Ferrari is because I was so looking forward to it coming out.
In real life it looks WAY better than the pictures
lol I got one of the Porsche 911

It’s a really cool car. I just wish that it could have been a different color. The white looks very bland
