Very helpful video! It helps me plan my itinerary! (^_^) I'm going to travel to Tasmania with my husband and my adult son this coming November...we're first time travelers from Hong Kong!
12 days is not long enough. We had to reduce our list. There are so many beautiful places in Tasmania to explore. We will come back for more adventures :)
Hi, came across your comment. I'm in a dire situation. I'm visiting in July, flights booked but I'm not sure where to go. I've got 8days in tassie. I'm from a south east asian country so anything you'd recommend that would be "an eye opening " for us? 😢. It's a last minute trip
well done for this travel vlog!! very helpful as well! with accommodation, did you have to book in different hotels as well? did you have to stay overnight after a tour in 1 particular area? if yes, are able to share the names of the hotels you booked for this trip ? thanks and God bless :)
Hi Nicole, we stayed 1 night in Hobart (Grand Old Duke), 2 nights in Queenstown (Railway Hotel Queenstown), 3 nights in Launceston (Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston), 2 nights in Bay of Fires (Panorama St Helen Nature Resort), 2 nights in Port Arthur (Harpers On The Beach & Port Arthur Motor Inn) and 1 night in Hobart (Somerset On The Pier Hobart). Thanks for watching our video :)
Thanks for the nice video showing many scenic places in Tasmania. What time of the year did you visit Tasmania? In some places, only T-shirts were worn which seemed to suggest the visit was in summer but jackets in others. Must be quite hectic and tiring I guess for your guys to drive from places to places and changing accommodation
Hi Estelle, we went there in Dec so the weather was warm most of the time. We slept at Hobart, Queenstown, Launceston, Bay of Fires, Port Arthur and back to Hobart. It was not a long drive between locations. It was the best trip. We will do it again anytime in a heartbeat :)
@@1001nightshi we will be there in 2 days’ time! But the weather forecast seems to suggest it’s going to be below 20 degrees Celsius. Was it so for you?
I found that it was a bit chilly in the morning and night time. I always carried a jacket. And it is colder if you visit Mount Wellington & Cradle Mountain.
hi, i''m planning a trip to Tasmania coming Dec. Due to time constraints, I was contemplating skipping Strahan. I saw Strahan being recommended in many suggested itinerary everywhere but it is at the further end from the other towns and I don't see many activities there, including your video. Would you skip the town if you were short of time or do you think it is a must-go? thank you
We went to Cradle Mountain from Queenstown in the morning. In the afternoon we drove from Cradle Mountain to Launceston. Yes you can do a day trip to Cradle Mountain.
Hi I’m french and with my husband (for our 50th wedding anniversary !) We have in mind to go to Australia, including Tasmania ;one question: are there B&B to meet local people , avoiding hotel which ,sure, are comfortable, but do not allow that ? We like this way to travel Tks for answer and video
Would love to visit London, but the more I delve into it the more expensive and out of budget it is. Now looking at Tasmania as an option as there is so many things I can see that is free and is way better than a city experience...See I live on Norfolk Island and we house the second Convict settlement and of course I would have to visit Port Arthur. Love to do Cradle Mountain when it is snowing and spend at least two three nights just being in the middle of the wilderness and hopefully snowing us in. The tour of Tassi really is enticing to me now...

As a Tasmanian, I say well done for giving yourselves enough time to see everything. People often think they can visit Tasmania in a few days.

tasmania is primarily history, coming from a big city you do look bored
Most annoying background music ever!! Pleeeease creators, squeaky voice music is sooooo horrible.
Thanks for the feedback. We don’t have many choices since most of the music is copy right.
Impressive video. Very useful travel guideline. Love it.
Thank you Rick :)
thanks for uploading the video, It is helpful!it seems very cold in the video,is it filmed in the summer?
Hi, we went there from 28 Dec 2021 to 07 Jan 2022. It was cold in the morning and night time and a lot colder Cradle Mountain compared to city areas.

Did the lavender farm cost anything to enter? I was on their website but it didn't say anything about an entrance fee, thanks!
There was an entrance fee. I cant remember how much but it was not expensive.
So nice
Thank you :)
Lovely video 👍 a lot of hard work put in to it! What time of year did you see the lavender field?
