Always glad to hear when a video helps! I was on the fence (no pun intended) on keeping the fence cut, but I try to keep it real. Enjoy the saw! Been loving mine, only issue I still run across is the dust collection, but I cut outside so it's not a huge deal. I also just uploaded the video for the matching miter saw stand if that's of any interest to you! Also don't forget promo code HOUSEMANN for a couple extra bucks off your order and a way to support the channel!
😅 I was going to edit it out. But I'm like darn, if it happened to me. Could happen to someone else. Might as well leave it in, and it adds a bit of comedic fun to the video. Honestly, I was bummed at first, but haven't noticed it since and hasn't bothered me enough to replace just yet 😂
I havent noticed it cutting not straight. Ocassionally ive noticed it doesn't butt up nicely against the fence, but thats usually because there was something stuck between the wood and the fence. Ill give it a check when I'm back home to see if it needs adjusting.
From my understanding it should be almost identical. I believe the only difference is the holding clamps. If I remember correctly the UK version holds the wood form the side and the US version from the top.
I bought this saw, very detailed video with one massive difference to the one that arrived, the harbour bolt on mine was unbelievably over tightened from factory (I am a mechanical engineer of 30 years so knew it was a left handed thread) on trying to undo the bolt with a longer Allan key than the one supplied it suddenly give way causing my shoulder to jar. After a visit to A&E and an MRI scan I was told I had severed 2 of the tendons in my rotator cuff. 😢😢😢😢
Great overall vid. Thanks for not editing out the error with the fence . I've just ordered this saw and can see that it's an easy mistake to make.☺

I would have done the same thing, 100%!! so glad I watched your review!!@@thehousemann
great review!! I would have liked to see adjustments included as I can see it doesn't cut 90 degrees straight from the box :)

Is the same equipment in UK version ?thx

Thanks the video. Have u cut metal with it?
Other than the accidental cut on the guard on the saw. No. I mainly use it for wood.
the multi-purpose blade cuts just about anything!!
