I actually like this Battle Gear because it have more car models than the first one and the second one :)
The best part of battle gear were dashboard view and car handling. It felt so real backthen...

I remember this Game, i play this on Arcade in Timezone Center. One of the BEST Japanese🇯🇵 Arcade Racing Game 2000s, very Nostalgic🔥👍👍👍

I remember playing the arcade version of this alongside my favorites arcade racer daytona usa and sega rally. Its been more than 9 years since that arcade closed

You could also simply mod a PS2 to make it region free

wasn't japanese exclusive only. I remember buying a plastic key from the counter and playing it. Slot in key, put token/coins and press start.

No sorry.. it's not available on PAL ps2 mate. But u can try get Tokyo Road Race (Battle Gear 2) for PAL ps2. :D

Nice graphics but looks boring AF, typical non-damageable bumper cars. Just like Gran Turismo 4
It is not boring as handling is pretty challenging. Lots of fun for hours if you have a wheel.
