to be fair tuners are certainly on to something like that better to have a originally slow car that has amazing handling even when tuned vs a stock fast car that handles like a boat on land and supra driver or old gtr driver can attest to that weakness in there car

Same here, there was a BG3 Tuned Version at my local, and I was having great fun with it. :(
Fortunately we can still play the PS2 version nowadays, and the force feedback is surprisingly good and feel identical to the real hardware. ^ ^
Used to have Battle Gear 4 at one of the small arcades near me. Took it away a few years ago for one of those racers where you go in a straight line and you can have a picture of your face as an avatar. Sad because I only played it when I was really young

The problem with some are arcades is they don't realize how much a money maker semi realistic driving games are with the right audience.

Man I remember an arcade had one of these machines, I didn’t dive in too deep cuz I was much younger (elementary/middle school age, in college now) and interested in the actual initial d licensed game which was 4 or 6 cabinets over. I was surprised to find the mecha tune 86 and the original one had the speed alarm. Had I known how hard it was to find, and had I played it when older, I would have had much more appreciation of this game, the place that had it sadly closed down, Malibu Grand Prix.
Plus it was an arcade cabinet that had an ebrake that would ratchet like an actual one. Damn I wish I spent more time with it
The graphics and gameplay looks and feel the same way a game in a movies or tv shows is displayed

Typically on the touge you have to pretty much abandon the racing line during a overtake because its a street and not a wide racetrack

This and the Kaido series were the best Touge games on the PS2, maybe ever, as this genere is pretty much gone after the PS2 era.

BG3はマジで挙動がリアルとゲームのいいとこ取りで好きだったなぁ。4でリアル路線になって、一気に廃れたのがもったいない。BG3のハチゴーはよく使ってたな。FFでATばかりのDクラスの中で、ハチゴーは唯一の5速MTでFRだったから、振り回しやすくて好きだった。

What I like about it it's that you have to be constantly perfect or else, I like the challenge, BG3 is a breeze compared to it, if it was a bit harder and had more tracks like the arcade version I think I would never stop playing it 😂

I played this once in a arcade in portland ironically no one played it and i was the only one there for the entire time i was there i used the 11k ae86 on akina and sucked cuz i didnt know drifting was faster
Oh hey, I live in portland too and must've been to that same arcade :) and I used that same car and track combo I'm pretty sure, it was before i had any racing sims or games of my own aside from initial d street stage so I had no idea how the fuck to play lmao
One thing i miss in assetto is that ai cant oversteer

What an awesome game, I loved playing MtAkina with the AE86 and RX7 FD and FC. You should play BG4 Tuned, Derole made a Custom Server with Events, the game is pretty good actually.
I'll make some videos about BG4T once the force feedback issue is solved on T300. ^ ^

I was talking about FFB Plugin actually, the rumble is "half" inverted on Thrustmaster wheels. So I will just wait for an update fixing it. ^ ^
