But three dogs that were not pit bulls attacked him while he was outside to potty. He died the next morning. There was nothing the vet could really do for him. He didn't know how to protect himself considering he had never fought before. By the time I got to him and was able to get the other dogs off of him it was too late. One had him by the throat and the vet believed one of the other dogs shredded an artery and he bled out internally. He bled a lot but I was able to stop it but Pitts are free bleeders so when something like this happens it is a race to save them. He was my 13 year olds best friend. They did everything together. The only aggression he ever showed was when a stranger grabbed her one day. He didn't bite the person but got between the man and my daughter and let him know quickly not to do that again and stayed between them until I got across the play ground to the and told him to back off. In my personal experience Chihuahua is the most aggressive dogs. You just don't hear about them because nobody is afraid of ankle bitters. If they were the same size as Pitts then we would hear the same stuff about them. It's all in how they are raised in how they turn out. No matter what breed they are.

I've been working with dogs my whole life (my dads a vet) and you never see these breeds in shelters or puppy mills, thankfully.

Hulk reminds me of my dog Mack. Mack is about 170lbs. He can pull me around the house playing tug of war, yet I can hand the rope to my 2yr old and he flops down to let my daughter pull without getting hurt. Dogs are amazing.

I've been working with dogs my whole life (my dads a vet) and you never see these breeds in shelters or puppy mills, thankfully.

Hulk reminds me of my dog Mack. Mack is about 170lbs. He can pull me around the house playing tug of war, yet I can hand the rope to my 2yr old and he flops down to let my daughter pull without getting hurt. Dogs are amazing.

But if they’re treated well and given treats and pets and long walks, they’ll be sweet. They could also be mean because of their past. They could’ve been used in dog fights. Or a backyard breeder. Maybe that’s why their mean. But if you treat a pitbull right, they will be very sweet and adorable dogs. You can’t look at all of Hulk’s puppies and think they aren’t adorable.
