He isn't barking, he's saying "Rah." His son had recently started talking and when he was frustrated and didn't know how to say something he would yell "Rah." Johnny copied his son, to show his frustration. But to answer your question; no, it's perfectly fine :)
Wait a minute, now, back up a second, what about that? Well, "Pilgrim", "Shooter's Bay", and the half a dozen other details you've chosen to ignore. Pure awesomeness!
I can really identify with the “This is how it happens, this is how it happens to people.” I say that to myself when I feel like I’m starting to lose it.
my favourite scene is when Mort is looking around the house after hearing a peculiar noise, he is stopped by his room door, he than looks in the bathroom, it appears to be John Shooter is in his bathroom. He then charges in with a fire poker and smashes his bathroom mirror. He then becomes behooved that it was just his reflection he saw in the bathroom, thus a “foreshadow” to the end of the movie, where it is unveiled that it was just all in his head, and that John Shooter was the personality Mort has created. small touch I didn’t noticed before I did a rewatch with the blueprints of the movie already in front of me, great Stephen King adaptation, one of my favourites. other than Christine and Carrie I didn’t mention the part where he also “kills” his shower door. I love that line delivery “I just killed the mirror” I LOVE THIS MOVIE
because everyone knows/assumed that he killed all the people that went missing after they went to his house. the sheriff also says "we know you killed those people, and we will find the bodies eventually"
I like how once the magazine showed up, the John Shooter apparition left; and the Shooter persona was gonna be convicted. In the end, he stayed true to his word.
@@josetorralva7419 Sorry to spoil the movie, but Johnny Depp’s character is having a mental awakening. Throughout the movie, he was being tormented by a man, John Shooter, who claimed he plagiarized his story. A bunch of crazy stuff later, and we find out John Shooter is his split personality and he did all the bad stuff. The other versions of him personifies his mind and personalities arguing with each other. Btw it’s also established from the beginning that he was a troubled man, and the things Shooter said he was going to do is what Johnny Depp ends up doing himself at the end of the movie.
@BlackPoison29 He said in an interveiw, he did that "ra ra ra!" thing because thats what his son does to him when he doesn't want to listen to him, lol.
That jaw muscle tick is deliberate. Did you not see the very last 2 seconds of the movie? The jaw tick is all foreshadowing for him eating the corn grown from the garden he eventually buries his wife in. In essence, he continues to eat his wife. Check out the last scene and you’ll see why he does it
So amazing! @NataliexK He said in an interview it was what his then toddler aged son would do when he was really confused. As Mort is really confused in this scene, Johnny thought it was appropriate :) Lol.
@Mrgettygirl because when it first goes through the window, you see how Mort sees the story and the second time it goes through it, you see everything clear again. =)
Creepiest thing about this movie is I am a writer and the first time I saw this movie I was wearing a hat that looked just about like that hat. Scared the shit outta me!
why does everybody mix up schizophrenia with dissociative identity disorder. these are 2 totally different psychosis. him hearing voices and hallucinating like shown in this scene isnt part of DID.
1:32..... I always say that in public places. Like a grocery store when I forget what it is I needed. I'll stand there trying to figure it out and I usually say " Why would he want me to put his hat on?" Lol. Get some starnge looks to say the least.
@TheDCmatrix are these all co-incedences? well im wearing his bruises arent i? ARENT I? ....are you? well................................ this doesnt make any sense
YES YES YES accept longer muchy longer the the very end is the best scene i love the supermarket part whre its so arkwierd between him and that post offfice girl how he look so hot but so creepy oh god "drools"
This movie is so underrated.
What are you doing here?
you know that noise he was making?
apparently his son made that noise when he was learning to talk - i was amazed :)
When Mort put the hat on for the very first time and it all just clicked, I got massive chills!!
right? glad people still remember this movie
"You still want to"
"SHUT UP!"
Johnny is just awesome, when he's saying "you still want to" you can actually hear how he smiles (:
He isn't barking, he's saying "Rah." His son had recently started talking and when he was frustrated and didn't know how to say something he would yell "Rah." Johnny copied his son, to show his frustration.

This scene made me spazz out...I totally didn't expect this!! Stephen King and Johnny Depp are freaking amazinggg.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE
nerd, but yes you are 100 percent right.
It was when he started verbally answering his thoughts that shit got real.
Johnny depp is just the sexiest thing Alive. I love him so much
He tries so hard to ugly himself up but he fails miserably because he is just a beautiful man
I love when the camera goes through the mirror. It does it 2 times in this movie and i love the reason why.!
This scene is what made Secret Window my fav. Johnny Depp movie
he is such an awesome actor, who else could pull THIS off?!
because everyone knows/assumed that he killed all the people that went missing after they went to his house. the sheriff also says "we know you killed those people, and we will find the bodies eventually"
I like how once the magazine showed up, the John Shooter apparition left; and the Shooter persona was gonna be convicted. In the end, he stayed true to his word.
Who is John Shooter & why are 3 or more Johnny Deep talking to him. What's happening to him?

Omg, that's why I love Johnny Depp; Great acting, great emotions/expressions, and just a great ( cute ) face :D. Love him!
To play a psycho is a pretty hard job, except if you are. Johnny Depp is fucking awesome actor, indeed!
ra, ra, ra, is one of the first sounds his son made when he was learning to talk.
@BlackPoison29
He said in an interveiw, he did that "ra ra ra!" thing because thats what his son does to him when he doesn't want to listen to him, lol.
I want to see Johnny Depp in more Stephen King films.
one of his all time best ! loving mad johnny :)
Great movie, one of my favourites. Johnny is awsome, I lost my copy of this, ill be buying this again. 10 out of 10
You know when he stretches out his jaw muscle. I thought I was the only one who does it but turns out my favorite celebrity does too.
That jaw muscle tick is deliberate. Did you not see the very last 2 seconds of the movie? Also Johnny doesn’t do it in any other movie. Hence it’s a deliberate character trait
Hes the best actor ever...!
Two of the best actors of all time are in this movie.
he is such a talented actor. he's like the MJ in acting. ;p
1:46 - Marlon Brando: "Wait a minute now, back up just a sec..."

Stephen King is a fucking genius.
i think Johnny Depp here is more awesome than usual.
So amazing!
@NataliexK He said in an interview it was what his then toddler aged son would do when he was really confused. As Mort is really confused in this scene, Johnny thought it was appropriate :) Lol.
Braces... getting a few things... straightened out.

Well I haven't seen the movie but I've read the book and I loved it!!
A sneak peak into the home life of JD and Amber Heard.
Two Johnnys are better then one... xD 1:49
"rah...rah...RAH! RAH!"
i remember potc 3!..
that has multiple jacks!
now in secret window... many mort raineys! oohh.. too sexy!
this is how i talk
@Mrgettygirl because when it first goes through the window, you see how Mort sees the story and the second time it goes through it, you see everything clear again. =)
Sounds like Amber Heard talking to herself.. self sabertage
its actually a novella from King's collection, "Four Past Midnight." I only got the book because it had that novella in it, lol
Oh I love when he becoming many Mort Rainey, and this part is very cool. 2:51
THAT'S MY FAVORITE MOVIE :D
I don't know why this movie was panned... I loved it. A bit predictable, but a great film.
"Hey, wait a minute! Your ass just sneezed! And HORSES can't TALK! No, no, no-- nothin' about this adds up at ALL!"
3:23 "I'M TELLING MOMMY YOU BROKE THE HOUSE JHONNY!"
This is defiantly the best part in the movie!! =D
I guess i love Johnny Depp too much,to relieze until the end that it was him,duh...
Creepiest thing about this movie is I am a writer and the first time I saw this movie I was wearing a hat that looked just about like that hat. Scared the shit outta me!

johnny depp's wigging out..
1:32..... I always say that in public places. Like a grocery store when I forget what it is I needed. I'll stand there trying to figure it out and I usually say " Why would he want me to put his hat on?" Lol. Get some starnge looks to say the least.
It might be controversial to say, but this is my favorite Johnny Depp movie.
@bioshocknoob121
its based on the stephen king novel: "Secret Window, Secret Garden"
WHY JOHNNYCAKE, WHY???!!!!!
genious!!!!
@TheDCmatrix
are these all co-incedences?
well im wearing his bruises arent i? ARENT I?
....are you?
well................................ this doesnt make any sense
the part where he starts barking kind of ruins the gravity of the situation for me...
David Koepp rules.
I like to imagine this is the discussion Depp had in his head about the Amber Heard issue before finally deciding on a trial instead of corn.🤣
3:03 to 3:09 "ra , ra ra ra " what the fuck lol
@Silvernatz12 yeah i realised it as soon as i saw the movie ;p i was quite angry with my self i have to say ;p

@BlackPoison29 Dramatic Effect. Hes not wanting to believe the truth.
I have arguments like this before every bad choice . Then I put on my black hat do what the other guy didn't have the guts to do.
@cytherina
Well, sorry if english is not my native language >_>
Multiple Jacks

Just a normal day in my life. Lol
