I told her to stop texting me and a month later I get the sheriff showing up at my door with claims I've harassed her for 3 years. Despite her having zero evidence and changing her story multiple times, even being caught in a lie, the judge claimed I was 'too calm' to be credible. Even he agreed she couldn't meet the preponderance of evidence but still decided to approve the NCO basically saying he's allowed to make an inference, ignored everything I said, took her at her word and added in things she never testified to. I could tell from the start of the hearings the judge was biased though and just goes to show how corrupt the system is against men.

It’s a pretty simple case. No violence. I just texted my ex a bunch in the two days after we broke up. I didn’t threaten her or say anything I think was overly mean. She had my key, threw it out. Refused to talk to me.
The court approved classes vary by county. file.lacounty.gov/SDSInter/probation/231844_2015DValpha_online_list.pdf This is the one for LA, for example. Usually I tell my clients (if charges are filed; before court, there’s an online class they can take) that any on the list will work. There are exceptions where the DA or judge specific to their case has expressed not wanting to accept online classes. Hope that helps!
