Thank you thank you thank you! I have been pulling my toro flex force head off every time to add the string. Who knew it was this easy! The only thing I would add is that when turning the knob on mine, I have to also push down while turning.
I just came across this video trying to figure out if my method was incorrect..and wow, it was! I was taking the head apart and winding the thread and it would work for a min then come out! Thank you for sharing this method!
My are gone. Two years into owning. But with my yard I have to feed it more then once a year. More like once a month. Ready to toss mine away at this point because it’s virtually impossible to use this speed feed feature now.
@@Neildiamondandsparkles I found it's the notch that goes all the way down on the plastic head. But yeah, not easy to tell at a glance. Would have been better if they had made the notch part orange or something.

Came with the toro weedeater
Thank you
how do you install the Speed Feed on the toro/would love see a video for that.
Nice video but have your wife or girl friend do it. Even my Toro dealer says it’s hard to do.
I would recommend taking the battery off first.
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SPEED FEED HEAD AND WHERE DID YOU BUY IT IS IT A KIT OR UNIVERSAL HEAD OR MADE FOR TORO
Speed feed head is the name. It came on the toro. But they do have universal kits
Did the speed feed come on the toro, or did you buy the speed feed? If you bought the head, was it the 400 or 450 model? Thanks
Speed feed head came on the toro. Definitely recommend those heads
Yeah, it comes with it. I bought all new Flex Force lawn equipment, absolutely love it. I'm definitely sold on electric 👍
Pretty soon your arrows are disappearing then what
Yes the speed feed came on my Flex Force 60v trimmer.
Thank you! Never would've known.
I want that head. My machine is a beast to change the string
That bumper is getting pretty worn you wont be able to line up the arrows soon
Arrows are engraved pretty deep. Year 2 and still can see them fine. Guess we will see how long it last!
