@@obxsurfandsoundfishing4085 I go out there from time to time, mainly Bonner bridge and Hatteras, its definitely the farthest from my area, almost 4 hours. but i do love the OBX, and ive fished it a bunch just never had much luck in the winter out there . we definitely got to meet up sometime and fish, ive been stuck around topsail and beufort co here recently
@@salteastsimon For sure! I usually will try to put my foot on it, with just enough pressure to keep it from being able to lift it up. Of course with shoes on! 🤣
@@ENCFishing i got a mixture of techniques . Sometimes i grab the tail with pliers. Most of the time i flip them upsidedown and just watch their barb and flop em back to the tide line lol. Worst part is getting them back to the surf
@@salteastsimon I can definitely see getting them back to the surf being tough. So far I've only caught them from a pier, so it was a quick motion to pick them up and toss them back!

I have to say, stingrays are not what I want to catch, but if nothing else is biting, I'm extremely excited to land one! 😂
Your right! A bite is a bite. Those barbs are mighty sharp though
