I'm just going to repeat what everyone on here, and Josie Gibson, has already said. Geoffrey looks, sounds like and has the mannerisms of his father. I never really thought so before, but he's really become more like his dad. It's actually quite comforting, because Roger Moore was such a wonderful, kind, funny person.
Geoffrey certainly has his father's self deprecating sense of humour. That wig comment made me LOL. Also from a distance, he looks like Roger, although not so much up close, but he does have the mannerisms.
Imagine if Geoffrey Moore could play James Bond set in the 1970s or 1980s with the same tone, and larger-than-life plot as The Spy Who Loved Me. I would love to see that.
Met Roger on his Moore on Tour gig that he used to do, paid a bit extra for the meet and greet and wasn't disappointing. An absolute gentleman, ask him anything and nothing a problem, a very funny man too with a dry sense of humour. What a life he had, he went on later to a standing ovation at the start of the show and got one at the end as well, so glad to have met him, a great guy.
Very sadly missed him at teh Princess Theatre Torquay when he was on this tour. Persuaders was always my childhood show, that and Randall & Hopkirk DECEASED.
Geoffrey says 7 was an important number to his dad and there are plenty more connections beyond those he mentions- Roger made 7 Bond films and was 57 when he last played him. He was born in 1927 and died in 2017. Quite remarkable really
Roger Moore: The best, the most charming James Bond actor ever! He had the best (his last 5)films: 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985. I think that 1977-1985 was the best time in the franchise! Roger had also the most gorgeous Bond girls, especially Anya Amasova, Corinne Dufour, many Drax's girls, many Octopussy's girls... What a charming man he was! R.I.P. the one and only, true English gentleman agent!!!
Roger More was always my favourite Bond. I loved him also in The Persuaders. It's good to see his son has inherited his good looks and mannerism from him . R.I.P. Roger Moore.
If you ever watched the opening credits to The Persuaders, it shows Tony Curtis and Roger Moore childhood photos, the one of Roger IS actually this chap his son
That's right. Roger Moore said in his autobiography 'My Word Is My Bond' that he did not have a suitable childhood photo of himself that they could use in the opening credits of 'The Persuaders', so the producers had to take one of his son Geoffrey instead.
Rodge was unique, can't replace him. Even son Geoffrey, charming and Bond like in appearance as is his, can't match him. I am sure there was a sizeable chunk from this sale to charity. Rodge devoted so much of his precious time to UNICEF. I am sure there will be a nod to charitable causes from this sale

Geoffrey does look a lot like his dad, and I hope the stuff that got sold at the auction went to good homes for bond fans or who were fans of sir roger.
.. little thing that you all may not know .. during the theme song of the tv show 'The Persuaders' with Moore & Curtis, when they showed photos of Roger Moore and Tony Curtis, only the kid picture of Curtis was legit, the 2 nd photo is not Roger Moore, but of his son Geoffrey, cause Roger Moore said that he didn' t have any kid pictures of himself as a kid at the time so, he gave the producer of the show, a pic of his son Geoffrey
Same here. The very first Bond film that I saw at my local (and now sadly long since demolished) Odeon cinema in Newcastle Upon Tyne was 'Moonraker' (1979). I was just 12 years old at the time.

@@nimos1 It doesn't mean they aren't mercenary, but I won't judge the family for that. There isn't an iconic dead celebrity with issue alive who doesn't do this. Just own it. But I read that some of the proceeds are going to charity. That said, since Roger had a widow, the kids may not have inherited as much as they wanted and I'm not aware that they actually have proper careers. They may need the money to support RM's heirs in perpetuity.
Have to say poor Jodie is trying hard but it doesn't work, even Geoffrey at a moment gave a bizarre look. Not a fan of Holly but its chalk and cheese. it's that strong Bristol accent........................
Sir Roger Moore's son looks the double of his dad and the way he talks and everything that's amazing. The son is so greedy its all about money at the end of the day.
I understand the sale, for whatever the true reason. When a person dies, often things they hoarded are of no value to the immediate family, having been through this myself. But really, who cares if he looks a bit like his father, it's not unusual. He's nowhere near as handsome as Roger was. Of course he's going to be well-mannered when peddling this auction - the family wants the money. I'm a fan of Roger Moore, not his kids. I'm glad they don't usually seek out the limelight because there is nothing more obnoxious than children of the talented trying to ride on the parent's success. There is a litany of examples in Hollywood showing how tragic that is.
I had that thought at first, though It's common. Remember, he was their father, so they view him differently to the way fans do. Having that stuff hoarded probably seems senseless to them. That said, it does present as a shameless cash-grab.

None of the charisma of his legendary dad, but nice fella. He didn’t even get the voice, bless him. Can’t believe this utterly dated awful show still runs 🤦

Incredible! He looks like his father, has his father's mannerisms, he dresses like his father and sounds almost like his father.

Kinda pathetic really. My dad played a fictional character and now I’ll pretend I’m that fictional character
