Not completely sure how a live action version of Sword art online will handle. Might not be on the same level as the live action Once Piece or maybe it will be.
Unital King sounds pretty interesting. So, I'm assuming it's another non-canon fun side story Reki's writing like that space crab story he did last year? Only reasons who I'm thinking that is because the FB MC hasn't been in the main series before & Yuuki's cameo. As for the Live Action bit, I kind of doubting it's teasing that Live Action series that Netflix & Skydance announced 7 or 8 years ago. But at the same time, I remember reading about how Skydance wanted to do some kind of VR experience as a way to promote the series.

You can log into Unital Ring with a standard FullDive device, and since the STL can function as one, I'd imagine you can use that just fine as well. As for how to log in in general, once the Unital Ring incident begins, new account creations are disabled. Everybody who logs into their Seed based game, simply gets converted into Unital Ring, basically stolen away from their original game.

Both Kureha and the Protag basically left GGO behind. No mention of any kind of "incident" beyond the events of Alicization in the mentions of anybody. Shortly after the events of Last Recollection, VR World / VR Tokyo is established via the Seed which is where people hang out together, not necessarily in games.
Gamerturk I’m curious about something since Fractured daydream isn’t part of the Gameverse is this Yuuki a Robot or Ai or something with Yuuki’s memories?
It most certainly won't be a manga. But the format, length, where it is going to be published etc are a complete unknown atm as mentioned in the video.
I actually hope that in the LN reki will write it in a way where the Fatal Bullet MC will still feel like our own character rather than the default one, that might be hard tho so I won't hope for much

Unital King is not a game. It's a side story to be written by Reki.
Hope we get some news about Unital Ring 8.

Do you think "Unital King" will prevent the existence of the "Unital Ring Game in Gameverse"?
Not sure really. The story kinda contradicts the LR Epilogue as well, so it's questionable how canon it will be to the Gameverse.

As covered in the video, Tokyo Game Show 2024, end of September. SAOFD is confirmed to not be at Gamescom in August sadly.

Assuming a recreation from memories, same as Eugeo, Quinella, Gabriel Miller and likely even Oberon considering he's supposed to be in prison.
