I started with schneider but i’m not going out on the road until next week with a trainer, are you just unloading n pushing everything into the store or you unloading, separating n stocking?.
Wassup @sauceygems. That's a great decision on getting your CDL. Dollar General schedule, it depends on the company that you gonna start with. I believe that they have Sunday to Thursday and they also have Monday to Friday, also Tuesday to Saturday. With this account, you get paid every week, and depending on the contract that you come in to the company you can make around 12 to 15 hundreds but that's depending on you if you show up on time and clock in for work.
@@themartefamily1 thanks for info bro. Yeah Im looking at DG fleet here in TX. To get that 1200-1500 a week check would you say thats 2 trailers a week or like 3 and more? Thanks for the fast reply man
@@sauceygemsI get 1500 a week local outta Texas home every night 48 hours a week! Mon thru Thursday and it’s drop and hook all day no touch freight! That job ain’t worth it, you can make the same amount local!
@@cryptonator1988 don’t do it, they don’t help all driver unload..downtown store deliveries..I bring home 1600/week and don’t work near as hard..the hardest thing I have to do is figure out what’s on tv when I’m in the dock 😂
@@BaccaratNation I pull a reefer for a company out of Texas, they treat the drivers with respect..we don’t go west of Denver or west of Amarillo..the only regret I have is I should of been over here years ago
Whats up man. I start at werner orientation on Monday 3/25 at Atlanta terminal. New cdl driver. Whats it really like man. Do you stay out for 4 weeks straight with your trainer
I was with a trainer out of the Atlanta terminal..and I was with him for about six weeks. We'd just go out and do our load and then when we finished we would go back to the terminal and get another load. On my 34 hour break I'd chill in my hotel. I was out of the Marion Indiana DC but got flown down to Atlanta to be with the trainer.
The amount of time you stay with the trainer depends on you ans how much experience you have. If your a new trucker then you probably gonna be with the trainer for six weeks.
I appreciate how honest you are!
Thank you
Hey! I appreciate your videos. I was thinking about applying to DG. May God bless you and keep you safe.
Seriously considering doing this. Certainly wont get fat on this account
Thanks bro U R appreciated 🙂
Thank you
Appreciate the good info
Thanks
Don't understand why the warehouse doesn't palletize all that product! 10 times easier on a pallet to unload
Yeah, but they want to deliver a lot of product to different stores in one trailer
Store no rooms
You can’t fit pallets on most of the stores backrooms doors or set it up on the sales floors
watch other dg vids dg is extremely cheap.. and they nickle and dime thier customers..
It's probably due to how they lay their stores out. Can't have pallets rolled in like you can at Walmart

I’m in my process to become a dollar general truck driver too
Nice congratulations.
Is it worth ot
Boutta Start With Hogan Soon I’m Hoping it’s smooth
Awesome, congratulations. Hogan is a great company to work for, and it all depends on the dispatch that you get.
Blood money but you are still far better off than anyone of those Prime lease drivers😂
What’s up man. I’m currently in school for my CDL. And DG is what I’m looking at. How’s the schedule and pay bro?
