Another good Lesson! I keep trying to get rid of my "flying little finger". I try every day to hold my fingers just touching the keys, then press and hold down each key in succession without letting any other finger fly up. Go back and forth and push down on one key as you let up on the other. Especially hard with the fourth and fifth finger.

I've tried to include about a minute of stride each time I practice.Either a one or two octave, with a root note and the fifth, then playing the chord.

Thanks. I own the Jerald Simon 100 Left hand...book. He has as well Essential Piano Excercises, which is the Alfred's Scales, Chords...x10. It's a massive book, 280 pags. Too much for beginners, but a good investiment in the long run (in my opinion).

Hi Tim.. I have learning piano since a year.. I have 6 fingers on left hand (2 thumbs).. Because of this I'm not able to play in left hand as comfortable as right hand .. Can you please give some tips so that I can play easily with left hand

I started teaching myself piano by learning seven Christmas songs. It's Christmas music every day in my house. (lol) 😄😄😄
