I love the fact that celebrities are open about mental health, however, they have access to the best doctors and rehab facilities. There are thousands of middle class and homeless people that need treatment but cannot afford it.

Money has nothing to do with it. Them using their platforms to speak out about mental illness is giving the lower class the recognition they need. It's making it more so that they are taken more seriously rather than as a joke.

Aguacate con Limon and More actually it does! In her case, she actually allowed herself to eat more with the 6-meal a day diet while maintaining daily exercises/jujitsu practice. So if anything, her gaining weight is definitely a healthy progress as compared to her starving during the disney days (which didnt really help her eating disorder)
Watching this now and it just breaks my heart. I hope Demi can get back her sobriety and feel happy again. I also pray that her family has the patience and love to continue to support her.

After seeing the documentary of Demi and just loving the new sound of her music I’ve became such a huge fan. I know what it’s like struggling with depression, and trying to heal that pain in so many ways and I have so much respect for Demi for speaking out and being honest with her challenges.

Watching this today, you can tell by Demi’s reaction she was not sober. Her deep swallow and fidgety feet. So sad, hopefully when she gets out she can saddle up and get back on the sobriety horse ❤️

I try to hide my body as much as I can cuz I'm afraid of being judged. I've been called fat, ugly, etc. I don't like the way I look. The only time I feel comfortaboe in my own skin is when I wear makeup or wear baggy clothes

Sometimes it's hard to reach for help because not everyone really wants to help you. Like for example, psychologists/psychiatrists don't take their job seriously. They sit there, listen, prescribe whichever medication && see you again next month. Other do care for their patients && you can tell by the way they speak to you. I'm glad Demi and her mom found someone that do care.

She was a cheerleader on my beloved Dallas Cowboys...yes she was one of America's Sweethearts...the DCC,
I had a therapist but she got arrested for giving illegal drugs to patients. & so did 5 other therapists, they were my backups in case I didn't like mine (2nd therapist in case the 1st didn't work out, 3rd in case the 2nd didn't work out, etc). Now I don't have any therapists. Not even the backups. 🙁

This reminds me of the show Mom. It’s a really good show but it goes to show how genetics has to do a lot with addictions like this. My Dad was an alcoholic and drug addict. So I chose at a young age to avoid these things. Deep down I know if I allowed myself to dive into these things I would have a very hard time coming back.
