As an American living in the EU I absolutely love when you refer to things as American "X" flavor...because I know EXACTLY what you mean. There is a very distinct "cherry", "grape", "banana" American flavor....cherry in particular 😂
I recently learned that banana flavor in candy is based on a different type of banana that what we get at the grocery store here in the states. I’ve never liked it because I thought companies couldn’t make a good fake haha Yes, it’s interesting what the industry standard is.

Cupuaçu is like a cacao's cousin and typical from south america 🥰 you can pronounce it as "koo-poo-ah-soo". I am happy more brands are using those ingredients as they are fab.
What about the kukui nut? Bath and body works had a hand cream with it and it smells SO DELICIOUS! I rarely used it cus I don't wanna finish it. They haven't brought it back since it was limited edition 😭😭.
Oh man. I couldn't imagine having sensitive armpits. I have hyperhidrosis under the arms and use prescription antiperspirant. The thought of having to decide between underarm irritation or severe sweating is the thing nightmares are made of.
@ Teri Boudreaux My armpits are also really sensitive! All aerosol deodorants really irritate my skin and I end up with a red, dry and itchy rash. I have had similar reactions to roll kn deodorants as well so I just stick to Sanex extra sensitive as it is the mildest one I have found that keeps the sweat away lol
I really like the idea of centella in a hand cream, based on my limited knowledge of what it does. Part of one of my hands has crepey skin, and maybe it will help soothe and hydrate a bit so it doesn’t look so old lady-ish. The new background is great!

The purito cream is FABULOUS for my super dry sensitive skin, absorbs SO quickly, and feels so good going on. But I can see if you have oily skin it would be too heavy and not absorb at all.
I really like that you mention the user experiance/ pleasurable... I enjoy using products, it is my me time and even if something work but is not pleasurable I tend to not use it often. so I really appreciate when you tell us as it is and save me time and money, I want that hand cream now x

I have a recommendation for a light ceramide cream. Try the EUNYUL Daily Care Multi Cera Cream. It’s like $15USD, 100ml, and has 5 ceramides in it. Best of all the formula is incredibly elegant and it’s lightweight. I absolutely love it. I hope you give it a try! Love the videos!
I love Purito! Their creams are super heavy though. It's a use as small amount as you physically can before bed kinda thing. Their Centella products are fantastic as is their daily go to facial sun cream. Totally agree about their barrier repair products, if they had the same texture as their sun protection it'd be awesome.

Definitely figure out which AHA your skin likes - glycolic is great for oily non-sensitive skin, lactic is slightly gentler & great for dry/sensitive skin. Also, I second niacinamide as an old faithful ingredient for keeping pores happy. To keep pore congestion at bay without BHAs, I hear amazing things about retinol/retinoid products, but I can't attest to that, myself! I tried Adapalene/Differin for 3+ months & the only change I noticed in my skin was it peeling off, lol

I have dry/sensitive and acne prone skin, but I use any exfoliator if I feel the need (AHA/BHA), the COSRX snail mucin serum, a moisturizer, and follow that with retinol some nights and other nights just top it with rose hip seel oil. Hope this helps!!
Most peptides used in skin care are copper peptides they help with collagen production and argireline that is suppose to work like Botox kind of also the centella in the hand cream helps with crepey (😂) skin on the hands so we don’t have old lady skin on them 😂😂

I dislike Rhode because Hailey copied the name "Rhode" from a small business owner. Hailey even asked the small business owner for the name ownership but the owner said no. Hailey went on to start a skincare line with this brand anyway. The small business owner has filed suit for what Hailey has done. I actually liked the new Purito moisturizer (I have dry skin). I was really excited for it bc I love the sleeping pack but the pump was crap. From the very beginning, it wouldn’t dispense properly so I returned it 😕

I love the purity dermis sleeping pack. I found it a couple of years ago and I alternate between it and the junior ProPlus one every night in winter but I do occasionally use it as a day moisturiser, I find it quite a light final occlusive layer

I love Saltair!! I tried the body wash after you featured it in a video and I loved it so much that I scooped up some deodorants as soon as they released them. I have to use natural/aluminum free deodorants due to a skin condition, but I also have hyperhidrosis and finding a deodorant that works for me has been extremely difficult. Saltair and Native in conjunction with a glycolic acid soap (I use the mega babe space bar) have been the only thing that works for me.

Might be time to go lip product shopping again. I like the Then I Met You lip mask, but I don't feel like it sticks around long enough during the day to be useful. I usually use it at night and then slap a heavier lip balm over it.
About Haley’s Bieber product… Cupuaçu and babaçu are fruits from the Amazon forest. We’ve been using cupuaçu butter for years. For hair, for skin. It makes me sad though to see it in global products … knowing the methods the big companies have to get this products. Local people work in very precarious conditions and they receive much less profit than a minimum salary for the region.

I tried the purito dermide moisturizer and balm. As a combination skin, the balm is heavy yet the moisturizer is a nice lightweight cream. Both of them do remind me of cerave products but I quite like it as nighttime moisturizer.
it's gets me how ppl are all about "Rhodes ..omg it's full of peptides" the peptides are literally at the bottom of the Ingredients list. So if u want the benefits of peptides, which help firm, plump the skin, stimulate collagen production your not going to get it from any of her products. If anyone has glimpsed at the IL the peptides are last on the list and some 2nd to last. The fact that she is using Peptides in the title of her products when there is virtually no peptides is disgusting. This is using the hype of an ingredient...slapping it on the bottle...knowing ppl will run to buy it.

Interesting your take on the Beauty Pie cleanser. I usually put this on dry skin after briefly wetting my fingers and I don't find it that extrememly foamy. Then is splash of while massaging a little and remove with a washcloth. Anyhooooooo, maybe breathe through your nose while using! 😆🤣😎

I impaired my skin barrier and bought the Purito Dermide cream and I actually like it- it does take some time to work in but I just use a half a pump and on very very damp skin- like basically dripping wet skin. And it seems to be healing my skin really well!

It can get so painful! It actually started when I worked for lush and used one of their natural deodorants. It ripped my armpits to shreds!

Have you tried sulfur products? They are alternative to BHA. And 2nd ingredient to try is azelaic acid - helps with skin texture among other things.

Hi James, I had a suggestion as to how you can finish the face wash as I too feel bad about wasting products. You m.entioned washing your hands a lot and perhaps you could use it has a moisturising hand-wash?

I love Saltair!! I tried the body wash after you featured it in a video and I loved it so much that I scooped up some deodorants as soon as they released them. I have to use natural/aluminum free deodorants due to a skin condition, but I also have hyperhidrosis and finding a deodorant that works for me has been extremely difficult. Saltair and Native in conjunction with a glycolic acid soap (I use the mega babe space bar) have been the only thing that works for me.

Might be time to go lip product shopping again. I like the Then I Met You lip mask, but I don't feel like it sticks around long enough during the day to be useful. I usually use it at night and then slap a heavier lip balm over it.

About Haley’s Bieber product… Cupuaçu and babaçu are fruits from the Amazon forest. We’ve been using cupuaçu butter for years. For hair, for skin. It makes me sad though to see it in global products … knowing the methods the big companies have to get this products. Local people work in very precarious conditions and they receive much less profit than a minimum salary for the region.
I wanted to love that BP face wash so much, it was such good value for money, I ended up using it as shower gel !

I tried the purito dermide moisturizer and balm. As a combination skin, the balm is heavy yet the moisturizer is a nice lightweight cream. Both of them do remind me of cerave products but I quite like it as nighttime moisturizer.
Oh phew! I have combo skin too and was hoping the cream would suit me! Do you put anything under the moisturizer?

it's gets me how ppl are all about "Rhodes ..omg it's full of peptides" the peptides are literally at the bottom of the Ingredients list. So if u want the benefits of peptides, which help firm, plump the skin, stimulate collagen production your not going to get it from any of her products. If anyone has glimpsed at the IL the peptides are last on the list and some 2nd to last. The fact that she is using Peptides in the title of her products when there is virtually no peptides is disgusting. This is using the hype of an ingredient...slapping it on the bottle...knowing ppl will run to buy it.

Interesting your take on the Beauty Pie cleanser. I usually put this on dry skin after briefly wetting my fingers and I don't find it that extrememly foamy. Then is splash of while massaging a little and remove with a washcloth. Anyhooooooo, maybe breathe through your nose while using! 😆🤣😎

Cupuaçu Butter is also in Bum Bum Cream - not sure if you've tried that before. I know it has a very distinctive scent that might not be your thing.

I respect your experience, but I have a completely different experience with the beauty pie cleanser. It barely foams and my skin feels clean, but soft. Maybe it's just for oilier skin? Or reformulated?
Used the bp shs face wash once and demoted it to body wash, but don't even like it for that.

I know exactly what you mean with the hand cream lid etc , I have the Bondi Sands SPF lip balm and love it so I got another and the second one is a nightmare to get any product out that it makes it a chore to use …. If a product is easy to use and fun to use I’m gonna use it more 😅

I impaired my skin barrier and bought the Purito Dermide cream and I actually like it- it does take some time to work in but I just use a half a pump and on very very damp skin- like basically dripping wet skin. And it seems to be healing my skin really well!
Highly suggest Dr Shereene Idriss's recent video on peptides, it felt like a properly explained deep dive 😊
