@@jiawang540 oh awesome! Python will help but even brushing up your financial knowledge and understanding how to read balance sheets is good. Excel is something you will be using a lot so knowing VisualBasic is great and can help 🙌🏽👍🏽

So maybe can you talk about the « managing grades » in a big 4. A lot of students and junior consultants like me have several unanswered questions regarding the fonction of Manager, Director and Partner. Thank you.

This probably doesn't completely match the subject of this video but what do you think about new "Business Analytics" programs. There are many new Master of Business Analytics programs and consulting firms seem to hire these grads but are they treated exactly like undergraduate hires or somewhere between MBAs and undergrads? Masters are amazing but you get recruited for the undergrad programmes. Business Analytics is an awesome area and definitely one of the HOTTEST topics right now and in the future 🙌🏽

I had a question about consulting specialisms, is it common for consultants to move into a specific industry later on down their career... say energy or healthcare etc., either within a consultancy or big four firm, or even an actual company working within that sector?

Is Deloitte - Risk and Financial Advisory - Tech Assurance a good role ? Does it fall into tech consulting? Plus can you earn big bucks into this ?
No it sits in Risk Consulting which is a different service line to Consulting (management consulting)

Each firm does it differently so depends where they put marketing. For example Deloitte put it within both Strategy and Digital

Very common, loads move into other consultancies or corporate firms within a specific industry just cause they realise they love it haha
