The "revolutionary trackless train" that 1) runs on battery and does not have continuous supply through a overhead wire, making it more inefficient and prone to malfunction and limiting its span 2) has rubber-tyred wheels and so it needs even more maintenance as rubber Tyres wore out faster than regular tram-train wheels and are also more energy inefficient. So basically is like reinventing the wheel but making it square
Initially, when I saw this idea, I too assumed that it's nothing more than a bus. But if I were you choose this ART System and a Light Rail System. I would take the ART since it seems cheaper to setup.
A trolleybus network is far batter than this if you are looking for cheaper than light rail system. This has all the flaws of rubber tyre and battery power in one concept. Basically it is like reinventing the wheel but making it square
So...you only need one operator for five sections? So it's labor-saving? And there is no space between the cars so it takes less roadway than five buses.
It will have the same consequences as the guided rail. The road will wear out in specific positions. This isn't a new technology. Instead of physical guiders, a robotic line tracer is used. Guided rail is rejected because of its bad effect on roads, this will also suffer the same fate
It's not really a bus and it's not really a train. It's a combination of the two. Buses don't run on any tracks so it's not really a bus and a trains doesn't normally run through a town making stops like buses do. So it's kind of a "BusTran" so to speak. My word I made up.
That´s a bus!

its just a bus, w o w
not first because there is one in Rouen since a lot of time

Is basically a bus but with 3 compartments
AKA a bendy bus. Yes, those existed even before this
your scientist were so focused on the fact they could do it that they didn't stip to think if they should do it.
weres that comment that everyone copied when they saw it somewhere else.

Woah! China invented the Bus!
Whats the point of this, you will just get more friction
I think it's more like a driverless bus than a trackless train lol
It's literally just a bus you can't even get mislead by this.

I would still prefer this type of a system because it seems easier to setup than a Light Rail System.
as a wise man once said
*Oh wow, China invented a BUS*
Look a bus!
So chine invented a bus awesome cant wait till we all get buses
So they invented a Bus which follows a more or less straight line.. Good fucking work lol..
So China invented a bus
