      Yeah, I saw a clip from that exact spot one week earlier where a girl dived head først down in the river. It looks easy enough, but there are som rocks there that your front wheel will slip on and get stuck between. With that in mind, I always check technical parts when im alone :-P

    Riding through those forests for hour after hour would be tough. Mountain roads not so bad. At least you have a view. Waiting for you to get the rear wheel sliding out on the gravel.

    Stunning scenery. Not so sure about your 'sex face' at the beginning though 😂. I was camping last weekend and it was also cold at night so I can appreciate how hard it is to ride all day and camp at night. Maybe throw in a night in a hotel to warm up etc? Keep up the good work and I would love to see a review on your 790 at the end with your opinion of the bike as an 'allrounder'. It is currently top of my list to replace my GS1200 Rallye in a few years time.

      Haha, that was more like my heavy relief face :-P but I see where you are going. Keep warm in the tent is quite easy, its more like the places you just can't piss wherever you like. Thx for the comment... my plan is to make a little review of the bike at the end of the season. Show what mods, luggage options and extra stuff I have added, and what I think makes this this bike so brilliant :-) Cheers

    Hi Thomas, great series😉👍🏻
    I have a question for you about the 790R and was wondering if you could help me.
    Mine makes a chattering sound from the frontforks when I come to a stop on an uneven surface. It sounds like something is loose.
    I cant find anything loose, so I was wondering if other 790R’s make that same noise. Just want to make sure nothing is wrong with my bike😄
    Does yours make the same noise?

    • @tshansen
      @tshansen  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you :-D I have nothing as you describe, but I have heard that some have had trouble with the front bearing. When I turned my front wheel around last week (to prevent cupping) I saw alot of rusty/dirty water coming out from where the front axel should be. So you may want to check that your bearing is still alright. I know that KTM has had some issue with this in the past. Like they put it in without proper grease.

      See on the adv forum you now have the same problem with the front brake. I found it was the brakes and not the forks that cause that sound.
      I’m having more problems with the front brake now: sometimes the lever comes much further back than other times. Maybe there is air in the system. Bike is going to the shop in the beginning of october.

    Hello Thomas, I love your videos. So much so that I have decided to try getting on s bike again, after 60 years without riding. The only thing I would add or like to see in your videos, is some info on where you are, several times per video. It also seems you are staying safely away from single track trails (stier). Is that on purpose. I am thinking about getting a Husky 701LR for the TET. What do you think and are you happy with the KTM?

    • @tshansen
      @tshansen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow.... thank you Steinar. Make sure to refresh some riding techniques before you embark on bigger adventures 😆 I have tried to add more info about where i am in my lates videos. If you take a look at my Out Wildcamping series, you will see mych more road and place information there. But, gret input and solid advise for mye future videos. Riding on trails (stier) is mostly illegal in Norway, so i try to avoid illegal driving, at least film illegal driving. I don't want to encourage that kind of driving, or give a impression that it is legal here in Norway 😊The husky 701LR are great for the TET. For me (owned the 690) it was a not a good option for longer trips and longer adventures, so i had to go up one size. Because of my type of riding, i feel much more at home on the 790. I absolutely love that bike 👏🏻 Cheers

      Thanks for the good advice. I will for sure get som training.
      Do you use the different traction control modes or could you have used a Tenere 700, for example?

    • @tshansen
      @tshansen  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will have no problem with the T7, it is a great bike! Traction controll is only a tool that can help you in some situations. I feel like traction control makes me sloppy and do the most usage when i did not plan ahead! I use the different traction control modes alot when it is slippery! But you manage without 👏🏻🔥

    hello, i have a question about your adv boots. do they shift comfterbly while seated on the bike? i bought alpine stars mx boots to ride on my crf250l and soon an added 790 r. but with those boots its a real struggle to shift while seated and they are zero percent waterproof. my fault for doing little to no reasearch ofcourse. and are they also comfortable to do some walks with (when i get to some beautifull place to take a small stroll around the nature) Thanks in advance :)

    • @tshansen
      @tshansen  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Robbie... My ADV boots sjift comfterbly when seated. They are a little bit stiff when they are brand new, but they are a great mix of comfort and stiff enough for riding (in my opinion) They are GoreTex, so waterproof and surprisingly good to walk in. They can be a tight fith if you have a wide foot.

Men takk for tilbakemelding. Det setter jeg pris på
