Great video. Where is the longer offroad portion of this video (1:28)? I am riding to Lofoten and am trying to catch some lighter offroad trips on the way.
Hello Perry.... the offroad parts you are referring to, are on top of the Utvikfjellet right up the mountain from Byrkjelo where the ski resort are. But this road is now closed with a barrier (I think) you just need to check.

Hi Thomas I'm working now in Oslo and this year I want to take my motorbike to Norway . Can I ask you where are you searching for gravel roads like Slådalsvegen and other roads . I Can't find any website . I know about TET but there are no all gravel roads . Plus I can recommend road Eresfjord - Sundalsora over the mountains . One of the top off road in Molde area. Thanks for sharing your videos they are perfect . Josef
Hello Josef... Alot of this roads are know by friends and people in the community. We share gravel roads with each other and build up library in basecamp or other programs. Some tips you can get trough OTC, a Norwegian Facebook group... Off-road Touring Club. And sometimes you just got to ask locals who know about roads like this. Alot of my routes I have found trough looking at maps and driving around exploring. I have some gravel roads stored in a library at myroute-app bit.ly/3aoQv7E if there is anything I can help you with, feel free to ask. Cheers
Thanks Thomas! I’m tempted to give it a try but I have to check if it will interfere with the microphone from my Sena that is mounted in the inside of the mouth piece.
I don't think I made any gpx files of this trip. Normally I link them in the description below. In this video I follow mostly the main road towards Refviksanden from Bergen, and continue to Geiranger after that.
Hello, nice video, could anyone tell me if may is a good month to visit Norway and go on the TET ? Is there still snow in the northern part of the country ? Thanks
Hello mate! Well, this depends on how much snow we get in the winter! Some roads can be closed up to june. But i would say june, july and august are a good time to ride the Norwegian tet! Northern part of the country have snow much longer than the south, but there should be no problem in this summer months! Glad you liked the video mate 🔥👍🏻 cheers
@@tshansen Sorry for the late answer, thank you so much for those infos. I’ll plan my trip for august I think so I’m sure I don’t have any trouble with the snow for my first trip to Norway 😁 and thank you for all your videos, they are perfect 👍🏼
This is killing me. I have not been to Norway for two years. I have ridden over from the UK on a road bike. How would you rate the TET for a noob on an Enduro?
Hello Andrew, thank you for the nice comment 👏🏻 The Norwegian TET is pretty simple and with easy "get arounds" if you find anything difficult. If you take it slow on some of the muddy/grasy bits you will be absolutely fine. I can highly recommend it. Episode 1 and 2 of this series is not so much TET, more the West coast line. in the rest of the episodes I travel only tet (mostly)
Hei Thomas, Flotte vidoer du legger ut. Alltid hyggelig å følge med hva som kommer på din kanal. Et kjapt spørsmål... Hva bruker du for å lage kart animasjon (0:30) ?
