  • This was to be a circular walk From Loch Drunkie Car-Park to Invertrossachs via Loch Venacker returning by way of Loch Drunkie using existing tracks and paths, the walk went well until the return leg from Invertrossachs on reaching moorend the forest had been felled completely obliterating the Path so it was a matter of carefully picking our way through the kindling of the felled forest until we came across a new track (not on the Map) then walking along this to the turning point for forestry vehicles where we managed to pick up the old path down to loch Drunkie Dam then it was just a matter of following the path all the way back to the Loch Drunkie Car_Park.
Distance walked 8 Miles Time taken 5 Hours

Hiya Bill. What's cracking walk. The lovely forest paths taking you down to the loch..Fab place for a cookout or even a wild swim for sure. That was a great find on invertrosachs house. They should never have let it go to ruin. Typical though 🤦‍♂️ That boathouse is something from a Thomas Kincaid painting...which I could paint or draw properly ahahah. Great shots, lovely walking and fab photo of the 3 of you
