  • Incredible hike through a small section of the Redwood National Forest in Orick, CA. Giant redwoods, Creeks, and Ferns.
On average mature Redwood trees are from 200 to 240 feet high with diameters of 10 to 15 feet at 4 feet 8 inches above the ground. Exceptional individuals sometimes reach a height of 350 feet, a diameter of over 20 feet, and an age of approximately 2000 years. ENJOY!

This is a great relaxing video. I love the concept of watching it on the treadmill. I'm in awe of the Californian Redwood. Such a magnificent tree and its a shame that any of them were cut down.

I love this trail and the scenery is breathtaking, however when trying to "walk the trail" on my treadmill i wish we had just walked it without spinning around and stopping to look at the scenery. I wish there were 2 videos one labeled as looking at the scenery and one labeled "straight ahead no funzone but great scenery"😂

I've tried to make my new video more head on and less panning around. Let me know what you think of this one:

TEMPLE, TEXAS . . . It's a very enjoyable scenery. I would love to have the same trail set to some form of groove music if possible.

Are there wheelchair accessible trails in this park? I know that it would be cost prohibitive to make all the trails accessible. And maybe there is a limit to how many trees you could cut down?
Not asking for a friend. LOL It just came to mind when there was a narrow spot on the trail where there was a tree

I remember there being quite a big area when you first get in that could be easily accessed. I don't think you would be able to travel the trails without some kind of rough terrain wheel chair. It is relatively flat and groomed though.

So glad I'm.not running/walking to this. You need to keep your camera head on as one can become disorientated on a linear treadmill if you catch my drift. beautiful place though :)

The side panning disrupts the flow of treadmill walking

I was just going to comment that I like the way you have done this video. Side panning included. What kind of camera are you using though? It's good. I like the dimensions on it.

To anyone who's reading this, ITS GOING TO BE OK. I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, and the over thinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now and may clarity and understand replace confusion. I declare peace and calmness to fill your life.💯💯❤❤

Not a national forest. It's Redwood National Park. There's a difference.

  • @darrendexter6125

The lens distortion is a bit much for me. Walking forward is tolerable, but when you pan to the sides, it seems very unnatural, visually disorienting, and takes away from what I think you are trying to convey. Although, I also understand the challenges. I have been to those places, and the view through a camera lens just doesn't do it justice. You want to open up the viewing angle to get it all in. I get it. I just wish there was a better solution.

This made me so motion sickness. The wider lens is no good and all the 360 turning make it not so good on a 50" TV. 😢

Don’t have to watch it , I think it was really relaxing , and he was just trying to show the whole area , so we could get 360 views of the forest.amazing job showing the tree heights too

Fish eye lens ruins this video! Ill never understand why anyone would waste money on a fish eyed lens. It does nothing but distort the truth of what you're really seeing.

    • @virtualtreadmilladventures
      @virtualtreadmilladventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

It's actually just a wide view. I thought it would help capture more of the trees height and immensity. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks.
