for an exodia deck, this is what i run. it is EXTREMELY consistent. maybe it could use improvement (im missing cards like pseudo space and royal magical library) but i think this is good as is: 1x each Exodia piece [5] 3 Pot of Greed [8] 3 Graceful Charity [11] 3 Pot of Duality [14] 3 Terraforming [17] 3 Chicken Game [20] 3 Reckless Greed [23] 3 Hope For Escape [26] 3 Upstart Goblin [29] 3 One Day of Peace [32] 3 Makyura the Destructor [35] 2 Hand Destruction [37] 1 Reinforcements of the Army [38] 1 Dark World Dealings 1 Allure of Darkness [40] the deck has so much synergy it's ridiculous. it bricks occasionally but usually you get enough momentum to win in one turn. the idea is of course to draw through your whole deck but part of your objective is to decrease your life points as much as you can with chicken game and hope for escape while increasing your opponent's life points. this allows you to draw a ton with hope for escape. and makyura the destructor allows you to activate traps from your hand the turn he's sent to the graveyard (graceful charity, hand destruction, dark world dealings) so it turns reckless greed into pot of greed and hope for escape into a card you can activate turn 1. really solid, the only issue is its hard to actually get all the cards together so you'll have to do some hunting. but once you put it together you can blow through the campaign/duelist challenges in one turn ez

Great video, that kind of sucks how few good cards come from the only 2 parts of Yugioh I grew up with. I have been going through story and reverse duel story mode, just beat the 5D protagonist as Akiza the Rose Dragon Duelist, Using the story decks, I just can’t comprehend why the people who wrote those decks originally made them so actively bad. I can’t deck build at all, but things like emergency provisions in a deck that doesn’t have cards that benefit from going to the grave or managing LP, or a 2400 attack boss monster for your deck without a good effect just seems crazy.
Hey @ItsBradazHD, i’ve been going crazy looking for Witch of the Black Forest and I finally found it. I wanted to share this in case you want to forward this in a video. It covers the campaign rewards which to my knowledge you haven’t covered. If you’re trying to figure out the drops of the historic duels in campaign mode, easy tool is Yu-gi-oh! Wikia. Just look up the card appearances which goes into depth as to where the card is seen in the series. Then, you can go back and look up the specific duel associated with the card appearance. For example, I found Witch of the Black Forest in the Final Duel against Yugi Muto (he has to be your opp). In the series Yugi used Witch of the Black Forest in the final duel against Atem, ep. 223. So basically apply this logic to any card you think might appear in this section of the game.

I like my deck. It has 60 cards and it is pretty versatile. I can stall, attack directly, destroy millions of cards, steel mons and play with levels due to the quasar card and this specific syncro material card which gives maluses of 300 per level or rank. It's a legal deck of course, but it doesnt have a real main strategy to go for. I'm mostly breaking through with well protected syncro's or those who can destroy stuff. And the coolest combo i have is the injection fairy equipped with an attacking shield and instable evolution.. instantly a 7800 damage.

I mean some websites gives you helps i know i use this one gaming site that helps me find hints and cheats specially for this game it help me build some decks and not waste my coins.
It doesn't look like they changed the AI for this game from the original. It looks like they just added more cards, and changed the format of the field, and that's it. The AI doesn't know to position the cards properly, where to put their links, how to link climb, etc. And with the limitation of the extra monster zone, the older decks can't do any of their combos. In most cases they just set backrow and set one monster, then pass.
Most ai decks don't even have the cards to link climb or worry about card placement. But I can speak from experience that the ai is definitely better then it used to be.
@@B33b3 well from my experience it's not. Ai used to make plays, but now they don't. Sometimes "Rank 4 Clowns" sit on 2 level 4 and dont xyz summon. When they have 3 field spells on hand, they play all of them, wasting 2 cards. When they go first, they just set a monster because they have nothing to respond to. And when talking about link plays, I'm obviously talking about those who can do it. The Trickstar deck will have 3 trickstars on board. They'll SS Holly Angel, then another Holly Angel using the first holly angel as link material. Playmaker's decks will have 3 monsters and will end up with just a proxy dragon or a honeybot instead of decode talker
@@UAlredyKnowWhatItIss Yeah those link decks are odd with how they play. I know the Trickstar one basically only has Holly Angel and for some reason it feels the need to link summon no matter what, even into more holly angels. I find that interesting because I've had mostly the opposite experience. In the old game the AI would always set face down if my monster had higher atk, almost no matter what they had in hand. In this one they actually try to out my boards and sometimes with surprising success. But that's just my experience, so maybe it's just luck or something. They also had things like, in the old game the ai would always attack face down monsters even if they knew what the card was, where as they don't do that now. Some things are improved but it's definitely not "good" ai, but I would say it's better, if only very very slightly. imo
It's currently listed for Summer 2019. There's been an August 20th date floating around for a physical release but we should be hearing more from Konami US later this month!
As of today, we can confirm that Link Evolution launches on August 20th in North America (and potentially Europe on the same day). And the physical copy will include Progleo, Micro Coder, and Cynet Codec as exclusive promo cards. And Amazon's already got pre-orders up for the game. It'll run you up $40, but if there are improvements between the JP release and the worldwide release, it should be worth it.
@@KaiSchSp I'm holding out hope that the NA release will have some new stuff by then, and that the JP version of the game gets an update that same day. There is a new set of cards coming out that same day. I don't even know if the promo cards in the physical release are in Link Evolution yet.
@@CrimsonZEXAL They are not in the game I believe. I'm just saying that even IF this game gets updates and/or DLC, both versions will remain the exact same, since they have to remain compatible. The game contains all cards up until like ~September 2018. I assume DLC will give us more newer stuff at some point.
But i actually like this way of buying packs because your not wasting time and don't have to wait till a banner drops again. I would rather it to be open right there and now for me if i want to build decks. I already finished the latest blue eyes deck or blue eyes chaos now i'm going into Jaden's pack.

Even though the duelist challenges are not that difficult for a veteran with an optimized deck like you suggest, they can be a pretty decent challenge for someone with an ok or average/incomplete deck and I would say for newer players the challenges would be quite hard. In the original Legacy of the Duelist I got rekt several times by the burning abyss deck, the gishki deck, gravekeepers, qliphorts and maybe a few others Im forgetting
the thing is, we are not expecting any kind of decks with different engines in them, but they should use the best of what they could use. goukis with splashed in isolde and knightmares would be overkill but look at the fluffal deck in challenge mode: no copy of patchwork and only 1 toy vendor? why?? that isn't a true challenge.
@@DerGremlin idk about any of those archetypes you mention since I dont play them, but yeah I dont remember those decks being too difficult if I ever fought them in duelist challenges. The only ones that gave me trouble were the ones I mentioned and maybe some exodia ones. With that said though I never thought fluffals were too good in general. I remember when I played online I went against a fair share of fluffal users and I dont think I ever lost once, and I was just using my main deck (PSY FRAMES) which imo arent too crazy either
@@ooperblownup fluffals are a lot of fun, but it is an otk deck. if you can't get the otk, then it's likely you will lose. fluffal patchwork and toyvendor are insane consistency cards. not playing them is like not playing cards like rota, e - emergency call, tuning, fossil dig...
@@DerGremlin I see, to be honest I usually tend to be more attracted to decks and archetypes that are not too linear and can be played in different ways or that the deck has some room to put some of your individual flavor and cards in them without sacrificing effectiveness. Like I dont wanna play decks in which I feel like the way I play it is the only way that every single person playing that deck has to use it, because then it doesnt feel as rewarding since you cant show off your individual skill as much and sometimes it feels like the deck just plays itself and makes you feel irrelevant or not different from anyone else using it. I think that when link evolution comes out in the west I will try making an original deck that revolves around a single monster or card I like, or remake my old spell counter/Endymion/Citadel deck and make it even better with the new cards, that deck was the most fun for me even though it wasnt that great

Challenge mode is unlocked when u have beaten every Duel against a certain Duelist (so u need to do the reverse duels too). When u win a duel u will drop 3 random cards from their deck, this guide tells u what's in them so u can best farm
Awesome Work. Atm i'm so bored of the Game. Story Mode suck so hard. Even with a Exodia Deck its Boring. Just finish Original,GX,5D's and Vrains with all normal,reversed and Challenge Games. Only 2 Arcs left but dont have any motivation to play it any further.
I feel ya. Grinding out everything was a right pain, but mostly boring. Haven't played in a few days so need to check out the online scene. Hopefully over time, especially with EU and US release if will improve drastically!

To let people know there is a website already where it tells you who has which cards in the characters purchases just use google i mean how hard it is to use google search. Like i made a good kaiba deck thanks to learning how to use google search or either finding some good links to the profile deck.
It's not really farming, there's just no better word for it. I guess "grinding" works better, since your doing a certain Duel or action over and over again
It uses the world list ergo a convoluted list in my opinion another thing to mention is that you will chese it just play the no banlist mode and do stupid thing it dosnt really matter and its not worth your time going compeetiv in this game
Its probably in kaiba's purchases. But if you need help finding what cards goes into what character before buying the pack is to go to google and seach up which duelist holds the dragon lords and there is a website that gives you all the list of who has which cards but i forgot the website. But i'm sure if you use google it will help you faster then a youtuber telling you.
@@KrazyClassicGamer Yeah, I think I got 3 DMC. And I know I have to keep trying but I'm 310 into 314 cards, I must've opened a couple hundred packs and still nothing. If I hadn't checked, I would have been sure she's not in there.
The duelist challenges aren't even difficult. I beat all of them with a Perfect Circle deck. Any consistent deck can easily beat them. Just play stuff like Thunder Dragon or ABC. Even a well build Red-Eyes deck can beat them easily

@@UAlredyKnowWhatItIss Yeah those link decks are odd with how they play. I know the Trickstar one basically only has Holly Angel and for some reason it feels the need to link summon no matter what, even into more holly angels.
I find that interesting because I've had mostly the opposite experience. In the old game the AI would always set face down if my monster had higher atk, almost no matter what they had in hand. In this one they actually try to out my boards and sometimes with surprising success. But that's just my experience, so maybe it's just luck or something.
They also had things like, in the old game the ai would always attack face down monsters even if they knew what the card was, where as they don't do that now. Some things are improved but it's definitely not "good" ai, but I would say it's better, if only very very slightly. imo
you can get twin twisters by beating the gore or just surrendering as well

It's currently listed for Summer 2019. There's been an August 20th date floating around for a physical release but we should be hearing more from Konami US later this month!
As of today, we can confirm that Link Evolution launches on August 20th in North America (and potentially Europe on the same day). And the physical copy will include Progleo, Micro Coder, and Cynet Codec as exclusive promo cards. And Amazon's already got pre-orders up for the game. It'll run you up $40, but if there are improvements between the JP release and the worldwide release, it should be worth it.

@@KaiSchSp I'm holding out hope that the NA release will have some new stuff by then, and that the JP version of the game gets an update that same day. There is a new set of cards coming out that same day. I don't even know if the promo cards in the physical release are in Link Evolution yet.

I'm just saying that even IF this game gets updates and/or DLC, both versions will remain the exact same, since they have to remain compatible.
The game contains all cards up until like ~September 2018. I assume DLC will give us more newer stuff at some point.
But i actually like this way of buying packs because your not wasting time and don't have to wait till a banner drops again. I would rather it to be open right there and now for me if i want to build decks. I already finished the latest blue eyes deck or blue eyes chaos now i'm going into Jaden's pack.

Even though the duelist challenges are not that difficult for a veteran with an optimized deck like you suggest, they can be a pretty decent challenge for someone with an ok or average/incomplete deck and I would say for newer players the challenges would be quite hard.
In the original Legacy of the Duelist I got rekt several times by the burning abyss deck, the gishki deck, gravekeepers, qliphorts and maybe a few others Im forgetting
the thing is, we are not expecting any kind of decks with different engines in them, but they should use the best of what they could use.
goukis with splashed in isolde and knightmares would be overkill but look at the fluffal deck in challenge mode: no copy of patchwork and only 1 toy vendor?

@@DerGremlin idk about any of those archetypes you mention since I dont play them, but yeah I dont remember those decks being too difficult if I ever fought them in duelist challenges. The only ones that gave me trouble were the ones I mentioned and maybe some exodia ones.
With that said though I never thought fluffals were too good in general. I remember when I played online I went against a fair share of fluffal users and I dont think I ever lost once, and I was just using my main deck (PSY FRAMES) which imo arent too crazy either

@@ooperblownup fluffals are a lot of fun, but it is an otk deck. if you can't get the otk, then it's likely you will lose. fluffal patchwork and toyvendor are insane consistency cards. not playing them is like not playing cards like rota, e - emergency call, tuning, fossil dig...
@@DerGremlin I see, to be honest I usually tend to be more attracted to decks and archetypes that are not too linear and can be played in different ways or that the deck has some room to put some of your individual flavor and cards in them without sacrificing effectiveness. Like I dont wanna play decks in which I feel like the way I play it is the only way that every single person playing that deck has to use it, because then it doesnt feel as rewarding since you cant show off your individual skill as much and sometimes it feels like the deck just plays itself and makes you feel irrelevant or not different from anyone else using it.
I think that when link evolution comes out in the west I will try making an original deck that revolves around a single monster or card I like, or remake my old spell counter/Endymion/Citadel deck and make it even better with the new cards, that deck was the most fun for me even though it wasnt that great

how do you unlock challange mode and how does it works even work this mode when it comes to drops and stuff?
Challenge mode is unlocked when u have beaten every Duel against a certain Duelist (so u need to do the reverse duels too). When u win a duel u will drop 3 random cards from their deck, this guide tells u what's in them so u can best farm

I feel ya. Grinding out everything was a right pain, but mostly boring. Haven't played in a few days so need to check out the online scene. Hopefully over time, especially with EU and US release if will improve drastically!

But if you need help finding what cards goes into what character before buying the pack is to go to google and seach up which duelist holds the dragon lords and there is a website that gives you all the list of who has which cards but i forgot the website. But i'm sure if you use google it will help you faster then a youtuber telling you.

The duelist challenges aren't even difficult. I beat all of them with a Perfect Circle deck. Any consistent deck can easily beat them. Just play stuff like Thunder Dragon or ABC. Even a well build Red-Eyes deck can beat them easily
