I was wondering if Javier knew the pun he was making. If only he’d talked about how that air-powered bolt gun made a bigger impact for the film than the silenced shotgun. However I think he wanted to avoid hitting the nail on the head, when it comes to weapon related puns.

Chigur is a lot like a vocal Michael Myers. He can't do anything but destroy. Rather, it's all he really wants to do. So he'll do it for a million bucks a hit or on a literal coin toss. But, rain or shine, October 31st or Cinco dey Mayo, he's gonna do it whether you want him to, whether he feels like it, and completely regardless of if he gets any fame, infamy, or any attention that lives to tell about it whatsoever.
I'd compare him to Heath Ledger's joker, or, ironically given the casting in both productions, Brolin's Thanos.

It's about the justice and the injustice of existence, it's against old men saying "everything was better in the past", it's brutally realistic, it's oscar winning, it has Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem (Anton Chigurh is the greatest villain in modern cinema), Woody Harrelson, Roger Deakins for cinematography and the Coen Brothers directing.
