Hahah wtf, I was just watching this and at 6:38 I thought: yo that avatar looks exactly like mine and I also just used Cress for the first time ever in GBL. Turns out I’m that person haha. GG Eric 😂👍 and keep up the good work HSH! 🎉
Victreebell one of my favs because of gyming in 2016. Everyone using vaporeons. I know grass hole is hated; but gym wise, it was fun! Maybe this update makes Vic more a skill than a meme.
I played against this team so many times today when I was running shadow alolan sandslash, shadow whiscash, and mantine that I started sending my whiscash into the annihilape safe switch
Hi, I see you mentioned "giving ice shard for free" a few times, I understand it's related to a move, but as a newbie in gbl, I'm not entirely sure what it entails. Could someone explain for me. Very much appreciated
There are different fast moves that last different turns (aka duration of 1 fast move). In that part, Dewgong had a 3-turn fast move (lasts 1.5 seconds per Ice Shard) and Talonflame had a 5-turn fast move (2.5 seconds for 1 ). So that would mean the amount of turns of by 3 Incinerates will be equal to the amount of 5 Ice Shards (15). It is optimal to throw your charged attack right in the middle of your opponent's fast move so that they do not get extra energy. However, the Talonflame threw their fast move at 3 Incinerates when the Dewgong just finished 5 ice shards. This causes the energy and damage of one more ice shard to register when the Talonflame throws the charged attack. This misplay is called "throwing on alignment". Hope this helped!
Throwing on good timing so that your opponents fast move won't go through. Impossible to do if it's not a 4 or 5 turn move though. Personally I always laugh at PoGo pvp Tubers who mention it because it's actually really hard and I bet they can't do it better either. And by watching their videos, wether it's their battles or featured ones, you'll realize I'm correct.
@@supershinigami1 well for the damage to not go through you are right. However, for energy it's not hard. An example is with 2-turn vs 3-turn fast move. The first good timing is when you throw energy on 1 2-turn because you will outpace 1 three-turn move. Second one is throwing 3 more 2-turn moves, then it will continue to increase by increments of three. A problem is that you have to watch you own fast moves in addition to your opponent's. So the strategy is to know that you make 4 two-turn moves before then reach 3 three-turn moves, and 7 two-turn moves before they reach 5 three-turn moves. Basically, there is always a pattern that can easily be followed if put into practice.
@@tetragd207 Oh yeah math during stressful situations is so easy. Especially when you have to learn it again every 3 months because something gets changed or added.
Honestly, it's only a matter of time before some degenerate monster is running some ABB style grasshole team with Magical leaf Shadow Vic and Shadow Venusaur in the great and Ultra League!😂
Run weep and vic in GL. I'm gonna try shadow vic in ultra. I got a high ranked shiny shadow. Def gonna try it out. So many teams are running double or triple water. I ran double electric with shadow amphoros and shadow raikou and was running through teams. Swampert lead meant I just lost basically but had a lot of 4/5 and 5/5 sets. I ran it for almost a week before the jungle cup started and made it to veteran with it
I just ran into a shadow Weepinbell and vic in great league and got merked after winning my first 4 games of the set. Whishcash did not like weep in the back:(
is it just me not being knowledgeable and missing something, but in the game where the opponent lead mantine, i feel like they top lefted too early, sure they might be weak to dewgong in the back, but they got it very low, and it didnt have much energy, so whatever they had in the back mightve been able to farm down or something, and if its a flyer, do well with erics backline, but i suppose it couldve been a grass backline and so eric probably wouldve still won, specially with 2 shields, idk it just felt like a very eary top left
Attack is weighted heavier in determining CP of a pokemon than defense/HP. So you get more stats out of a 1500 pokemon with 0 attack and maxed other stats.
Honestly sick of Victreebel it’s been meta since gbl came out. Really tired of seeing it. The Pokemon takes no skill to play even with a new move it’s still alignment based.
I love that Bellsprout - Pokemon number 69 - gets a community day where he can learn a move called MAGICAL LEAF on 4/20.
I caught a 420 cp Bellsprout 👌🏻 🍃
I don't get this. Sorry, I've been hearing about these numbers so much of late but I don't seem to get it.

Amazing video! You’re the best pvp content creator in my opinion 😇
I agree. Im only subscribed to him
Agreed. Homeslice is the 🐐!!
4:56 i think he could went for the leafblade and yea opp will shield it no doubt but the move will ko through shield cuz mandi was at perfecto 1hp

I'm running shadow dragonair in the lead but otherwise same team. But that's genius to switch mantine
Crazy that different trainers sent in videos of the exact same team to both you and jonkus!
if victreebel bullies water types, kartana tortures them with no mercy
Whats an analog of this? Volt switch?

I got a rank #6 shiny Vic for great league
I also got a rank #113 shiny for Ultra, and rank #5 ultra normal one for ultra

Did you add Magical Leaf to any Victreebel, HSH?
Victory Bell
Magical leaf still does pretty decent damage too, I would definitely rather sacrifice the higher fast move pressure for faster charges
Now if Niantic gave Victreebel vine whip it will be so deadly
But magical leaf funni cuz 4/20
Dewgong is such and underated pick and so grear. I loved running it

I think Venu is still a better grass/poison. Thanks for the vid!
You know the com day is underwhelming when Henry doesn’t even wanna use it himself 😅
Can anyone explain why the attack stat of these pokemon is so low??

i cant teahc my vic this move even with elite tm?
Probably have to wait till community day. Starts
Once your community day starts you should be able to! The submitter lives in Europe so their com day was earlier today
same here not sure why?
I got a 4 star Non shadow Victorybel but i cant get Magical Leaf to save my life!!! Help how can i get it
Ohh why all three jonkus, zyonik, homeslicehenry are using the same team just tell me 😅😅
This isn’t Henry’s team tho
Razor leaf is better because of it hits hard but magical leaf is a side upgrade
Razor leaf is more fast move pressure magical leaf makes getting to charged moves so much quicker
