I am new to Pvp and its interesting how the best stat product victreebel was not the iv you suggest to try to get. My question is is best stat product not good? i got a #2 victreebell is it just useless? how about other pokemon in gbl? Also a video about some good kanto gbl pokemon and what ivs would be cool too as they are boosted spawns rn! Love the content Keep it up!👍

Some Pokemon get different performance out of various builds. There's no one answer. Higher stat product and rank may actually cause you to lose a mirror match or a close matchup where you lose CAP, whereas having some extra attack may get you a breakpoint against certain pokemon, changing the outcome of those matches, but lose some matches because you lack a certain defensive breakpoint or just not have enough HP. It seems like a lot more going on than actually is. Good luck trainer.

The first key to understanding what stat product actually means. It just means the product of the 3 true stats. Because attack is more weighted in the CP calculation, often times the key to getting more stat product, is your standard low attack, high Def+hp. But this is better the lower the attack of the specific Pokémon. The lower the base attack stat, the more levels you get out of sacrificing your attack IVs which are just a base manipulation on top of base stats to.make each Pokémon unique.
But for attack heavy Mons with little bulk, a lot of the time, lowering your attack IVs doesn't give much more levels or bulk, so those Mons optimal IVs tend to be more with what damage they can deal what attack they need to do more damage and win.

If anything, the most simple way to look at it:
Highest stat distribution emphasis on defence and HP. Attack weighs more than those, so with a lower Attack you can get more power-ups in. Do keep in mind you want to get close to 1500 CP to get the most out of those stats.
Break- and bulkpoints are separate from this. You look into what attack is needed to deal more damage, and what defence is needed to take less damage.
Best stat distribution always works, but getting specific break/bulkpoints can be very handy in specific scenario’s. Best example is probably Cresselia taking 1 less dragonbreath damage from Altaria, allowing it to win that matchup easier
