I genuinely despise The Button. Not just for the concept, but also the fact that it just becomes a competition to stay on the show the longest for some of the guests. Like, that just undermines the entire premise of the show and makes me instantly dislike the person.
The button is a worse version of speed dating, the fear of being rejected and wanting to stay longer in the game makes people press it instantly They should make it so that there are multiple pairs and buttons and reward not pressing the button At least let leople introduve themselves properly before turning on
It immediately becomes a game of "Reject them before they reject me", which is just embarrassing for everyone involved. Nobody leaves that table without looking like an ass regardless of who did or didn't press it.
The button literally sabotages people's chances to find dates. It literally airs people's dirty laundry and their skeletons and then the other person is like 'uhhh' and now the date's awkward. It's fucking cringe.
the murder in Nikki's eyes slowly increasing in darkness and intensity with every second that Joey is on screen is what I live for, and the SHEER VICTORY radiating from the fist pump once it's announced he left the show alone....(chef's kiss) beautiful.
Joey is the reason I would be terrified to be on dating in the dark. Like, being locked in a dark room with a stranger? He is exactly the kind of person I wouldn't want to be stuck with.
Watching your earlier reactions I noticed Nikki was nervous being on camera but she's gotten more comfortable now. Ignore the trolls who hide behind a computer and judge your appearance. Nikki is beautiful and Chad is a handsome fellow. You both are relationship goals
So true. Nobody is forcing you to date an overweight person, but being a complete passive-aggressive creep about it is so cringe. Just say what you're into from the start! Then again, dating shows are largely staged and a lot of the "villain" contestants are coached to say those things. Oh well, still makes for some form of entertainment. I hope he covers MILF Manor for that reason.
True but being a straight shooter and telling some girl you don't like her because she is this or that is never going to go well. Either way your the bad guy. One thing about the Nathan & Samantha (cosplay girl) one that Jon's video doesn't show is that when she was asked her preference in males, she said "Asian". So she might be the same as Nathan, except even more impossible.
The whole thing seemed scripted, I mean look at the reactions especially on the women. Seemed like they were overacting, guess you gotta start your acting career somewhere.. right?

it's honestly so kinda fucked to see this shit sometimes, yeah like no one is forcing anyone to date a person that is overweight and people are allowed to have a prefered type and such, but to go out of your way to be actively mean and shit about such things is just fucked imo. Like speaking as a person that is by definition overweight I can say that I sure as fuck don't like being overweight, at least speaking for myself I try my hardest to get slim over and over again but one of the biggest blocks I have found is the mental block you can get because people like that exist. Like I dislike going to the gym because I'm always paranoid that people will make fun off me and shit, It's also the reason why I didn't try to date people for the longest time, purely because some people refuse to look past your physical appearance. However I am lucky enough to have found a partner that actually really loves both for my personality and my looks. And honestly while I find it funny to watch dating shows from time to time that dude was just horrendously bad imo
It's nice to hear that you have the desire to want to be healthy and in shape. You really shouldn't let the fear of others dissuade you from going to the gym. You are there for your sake, not theirs. If someone walks up and tries to start beef with you, just power on through like a stoic warrior. Besides I can promise you from experience, no one at the gym is going to shame you.
Trust me when I say this You'll very rarely be insulted for being overweight at a gym, infact alot of people respect overweight people working out because it shows that that person is trying to make a difference and improve their life. It It were just heavy weight boxers coming into gyms, then it would ruin the purpose of a gym which is to encourage and give anyone and everyone the requirements to get into better shape and improve your life. It's always a good sign to see someone who's clearly not fit or doesn't have a healthy lifestyle actually put the time and effort into working out and improving, and you'll find that most people will never insult or laugh or make fun of you in gyms even if your overweight.
I remember in college going out with some friends to see one of their families who lived in the middle of nowhere, and during the trip one of them said "OH MY GOD LOOK A COW!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE!" And it baffled me because I saw cows every day growing up, and yeah a lot of people didn't see them every day, but to have *never* seen one? Strange to me.
