Great video Gord and Guy, getting things cleared up around there and it's looking good. The way that saw is cutting act's like the bar has been twisted cutting angled cuts instead of straight through, could be the chain twisting from cutting the rake to low. You two are doing a great job and Andy's splitter is ripping things out really fast and lets you cut the firewood into the pieces the size you like them in. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great time on the lake and be safe. Fred.
Hey thanks Fred. I think you may be right. I think the next few times I will simply sharpen the cutters equally until I get to a point where it is cutting square and the pull is not too aggressive. Always something to learn. But very happy i decided to try to learn and stopped using the 2-in-1 sharpener. Have a great week out there my friend!
Always love to watch chips fly and logs being processed! This is my favorite type of work, especially when other people are doing it! LOL You are very lucky to have that machine at your disposal. Have a great day.
Good morning Gord. That is an awesome splitter. It’s sitting at the top of my wish list. I am enjoying my 462 and I can see why the longer bar works better for you. Tempted to copy you on that. Thanks for the great content.
Good Morning GP, 👍🧐👌twist your wrist as you are sharping your chain and on your way back make sure the fill do not touch your chain 👌🧐👍 You are Getting Better At It for sure as per the demo you have shown 🧐👌💪👍🚧🚧Yes GP at 6:43 Very GOOD SAFETY POINT ( Please have your HANDS ON THE SIDE OF THE LOG (not on the top )THAT YOU ARE SPLITTING,,,, One Of These Day fingers will be cut !!! ) 😢😢🚧🚧 NOW AT 11:17 THAT IS THE CORRECT AND SAFE WAY OF DOING IT ( WE LOVE YOU GUY 😇😇👌👌👍👍 ) Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING team work and We LOVE YOU TOO GP 🤣🤣👍👍💖💖 Cheers 👍👍👌👌😇😇🍻🍻
I tend to like my saw a bit more aggressive. I don't like to bend over so I want it to really pull itself in. But, it's all about what you feel safe with. Doing a plunge cut is more difficult with an aggressive chain also.
Either I wasn't very observant in the past, or you've made some progress in your video editing repertoire, but that effect that you did at the 7:26 mark, and then the picture in picture stuff is pretty fancy! Also, I'm curious.....at about the 9:30 mark, is that Guy videoing you, or have you started using an Insta 360 camera where you can change toe angle of view while editing, or was Guy moving the camera up and down to follow you? I've never had a GoPro, but I just started using an Insta 360, and like the ability to change the viewer's point of view while in the editing process.
Just curious I'd love to buy an eastonmade axis, just wondering how tall it is? Looks pretty tall would it fit into am 8, 10 or 12 foot tall garage door
Hey good morning Allan. LOL. Yes indeed he does - but we talk alot between shots or filming and we all often forget to drop them back down sometimes. Cheers!
Good video Gord you guys can make some firewood in a hurry thanks for sharing take care have a great week
I am tired just watching you guys work so hard! gonna retire to the garage and have some refreshments!
LOL!
Nice day GP. You two boys are a machine. Be safe

Cheers Douglas!

Me too!! I’ll be twiddling my thumbs for the next three months or so.
Hope you got to enjoy the new boat gord. All the best
We did Andrew! Big difference for sure and really a nice welcome change for the family. Sadly, I have already scratched it! UGHHH!!
Nice to have a sit down and watch someone else do some work.

LOL! yes for sure I am very thankful. have a nice Sunday Badger!
Nice to be able to make progress on the woodpile. I burn 7 to 8 cords a year, and have less than a cord to go on my 2025-26 wood.

@@claudenormandeau9211 Yes indeed they are sometimes but not when cutting close to the sides. Will discuss this in a few videos from now. Cheers!

Thanks Paul!
Wow must be a new camera today. Probably the 360
Hey good day Claude. Yes it is new but not the 360. I will show you on the next video. Have a great day!
