They are smart, cuddly and beautiful…..but having had conures, they can be loud and will chew, even if given plenty of chew toys. The one I had was smart enough to open a water dish latch that was supposed to be parrot proof, and which baffled my mom whenever she tried it.
That’s no surprise. They can catch on things fast and are curious. Thanks for watching our video.
My conure is always biting and nipping at me--any tips on how I can stop this behaviour?

@@ourfriendlyanimals 4 months--young but has been going thru hormonal period.
@@boudicca7181 They’re fast learners. I taught mine not to bite by putting my hand next to him and letting him get used to it. It took him a few days to completely adjust to his home. Just don’t pull your hand away or the biting would get worse.
