For a long time I thought that the new Yaris Hybrid would be my next car, but I am becoming more and more convinced that the Jazz Hybrid is the better choice: more of a premium feel, more space inside, better looking (but that is personal). Also: those Yarises will become very popular, you will see them everywhere, a Jazz is more exclusive.

It's refreshing to have Thomas admit that the Japanese are upping their game and beating VW Group for quality! I've stopped buying anything from VW Group years ago since my last Passat which is the worst "lemon" I've ever bought, period. Spend half it's life in the garage, to the extent that the salesmen and mechanics call me by my first name! Have been buying Hondas and Toyotas since and nothing has ever gone wrong with them (7 so far), perfect reliability records.

Have had a Jazz since 2012, the thing is utterly bulletproof. Not exciting to drive, pretty sluggish when trying to accelerate/overtake, and the model I have tends to feel a bit skittish over bumps/potholes etc. However, the practicality of this car is just outstanding. Every time I flatten the rear seats down and it turns into a mini van it makes me appreciate just how clever the Honda engineers are. Certainly very high up on my list of next car to buy once there are a few more on the second hand market. Also wish they'd made a full electric one as an option but I guess they didn't want to step on the Honda E's toes..

This Jazz is nice to be in. The electric motor gives more kick at the low end. This is nearly perfect for city commutes. For highway/motorway/free way drive, I may be better off with a larger car with a larger engine.

Get real dude. The amount of leather used for controls is equal or even less than a pair of boots. Factory workers are using leather protective gloves to prevent injuries, etc... but it's not like somebody kills cows just to make steering wheels out of their hide. We are still drinking milk and eating meat, leather will always be a by product of farming industry. There are much more impactful means of lowering leather use, like leather jackets, boots, couches etc. In the end, using animal-free material doesn't imply that animals weren't harmed during their sourcing.
