39:30 ish. Is is true the Japanese Audi no.5 actually had a mugen engine as the commentary says? Can't find any info on it. Racing sports cars has it listed as an Audi engine, but they could be mistaken. Best looking livery of the R8 I think, with possibly exception of the 'Krokodil' liveried one off
Smaller engine block, usually it's a production based "GT" engine in the LMP2s = 50 to a 100 hp less horsepower than the LMP1 non-hybrids. Typically they top between 190 and 200 miles an hour at max compared to 210 mph by LMP1 non hybrid cars and nearly 220 mph by hybrids. Compared to then when they were still called LMP675, these LM2 were a lot lighter than the LMP1 which gave them great power ratios-weight with every track accept for Le Mans where very little downforce is required for virtually 80% of the track with the exception of the Porsche curves as well as Dunlop, Tetre Rouge, Playstation chicane, Michelin chicane, Mulsanne & Arnage corners & the Ford chicanes, all of which are momentum based corners where traction is key to getting the best possible top end. However, on the four straights, LMP2 and their small engines can't compete and can lose up to 1.5 seconds per straightaway.
God bless for this. Thank You!
That was a great explanation at around 19:00 of the techincal rules.
