What engine was the guy running at 2:55? I know most are 3 cyl Yanmars and Kubota d1105's but that one sounded like a V-Twin! I know John Deere used a yanmar diesel V-Twin back in the 90's, maybe it was that motor?
I think they pught to have a roll cage and a seat where they can't lean back. Some can put more weight than other. Of course, I do not know the rules. But should be equal to all competitors. Are they weighed with there tractors? Great videos. Thanks for the ride!!!
@@EEPPULLINGVIDEOS As fast as those things go. There like the Mini rods class. In a split sec. You'd be crushed or killed. Hey buddy thanks again for the videos. Your time and love for the pulling, are Greatly Appreciated. God bless! THANKS!!!!
I LOVE THIS!!! I want to know the secrets of the lawnmower class tractor pullers!!! Bigger injectors? Modified plungers inside injection pump? Turbos? I certainly don't have a budget of $10,000 to dump into a tiny triple when I can get far more powerful bone stock TDI engines for a few hundred dollars! Hahaha. I just want to commute a tiny car chassis at triple digit MPGs.
any of the pro stocks that ran flow over 150 cc of fuel, they remove the lips and rings inside the injectors to create flow, the direct injected yanmars I don't know exactly what all they can do, but limited pro stock run about 130+cc of fuel, 6mm plunger & barrels, cut injectors since factory injectors will flow 130, turbos on the pro stock are usually modded hx30's or gt25's. turbos for limited pro are usually gt15-gt25's, pro stock runs 65+ psi, (some over 100psi) and limited pro are almost all under 50 psi. limited pro motors costs 4k-6k to get shop built, pro stock are 8k-12k to get shop built
Whoever thought of this, needs a Nobel peace prize
Right on!
@@EEPPULLINGVIDEOSThe only one

With snowmobile engines . Not some tractor with a diesel
I done garden tractor pulling for 4 years. Had a jd with a built Briggs on it Andy from sc keep it green yall
We did it for 7. It was fun!!
This gives me ideas for my diesel simplicity.. totally wild
Thank you EEPULLING! Another great video!👍👍
Thanks Richard!
I can’t wait until somebody starts building MINI MOD size versions of the these just like the pro stock tractors😊❤️ roll cage and all💪
I'm surprised nobody has, only ones I've seen were SBC powered.
They are already out there! Check out daddys lil fawn, one tough cub, and the lil red hooker.
I believe there are mini mods
Tiny tykes tractor racing network.
Hahaha....love it.
Not only leaning back for weight distribution but to keep engine parts out of your face......
So cool I wish I was still pulling sometimes.
Impressive little green and yellow Gremlin.😃🤩
I have been at this event in past years, and let me tell you, those little tractors get real hairy at times
Yes they do!
@@EEPPULLINGVIDEOS VW Diesela?
Not sure but Yanmar is a commonly used engine
What kind of hp/ ftlbs are they pushing?
@@peteharder6325
Sorry I was never able to find out
Need a smoke tube with fan when running inside like they use at National Farm Machinery pull. Nice little tractors!
We do for the large tractors

Interesting points Jamie. Not 100% sure on their rules but cages would be a safer ride for sure. I can imagine its quite a adrenaline rush!

You plus tractor can not weigh more then what then the weight class your in.
what kind of clutch/transmission setups are they using in those things
There’s probably so many adapters to clutch and diff trans all that stuff it’s probably sketchy
@@darkhail-_-8530 they all also run a cub cadet transmission and rearend, some guys built the whole rearend, they will spend 6k on the dif alone
Sick, guess I know what I'm gonna build this weekend, lol
I remember watching Calvin Becker doing a good job at the Columbus pull.!!!
These are cool as hell, but how many guys does it take to unhook one?
I'd be afraid of getting bucked off and run over.
what type of diesel engines do these use for power?, what kind of mods? ,very cool THANK YOU for posting!
Not sure of all the mods they make or engones used but Yanmar is one
I know they use Jetta turbos

the secret is to mix fuel and air at 16-1 ratio and cram enough in each cylinder to hit the power goal watch every vidy from gale banks

Put the cutting deck back on these and finish mowing the lawn in 38 seconds!
0:37 never did understand why you would want to hand throddle them instead of foot.
Preference maybe?
@EEPPULLINGVIDEOS could be. As you can see you lean to steer and need to be quick.
the pro stocks have hand throttles since it's easier to bring up the rpm's, your hand is steadier than your foot
roudy lil things :)
It's crazy these weigh 1100 lb
Thats a mean JD wow
Yes indeed!
What rear end is in this? Planning on building one!
Cub cadet with a reverse rotation ring and pinion.
I feel like these guys should have a beer in one hand doing this? Y'all hold ma beer and watch this shit.
On my diesel tractor how can I keep my pilot light lit
Huh?

Iz thar a wa 2 kep my pilot lite on/lit on my desel tractor
