- Air New Zealand's business class is different from any other I've ever seen. The seats face the corridor, which does not provide much privacy. A lot of people are saying online that it's weird. But is it really? In this video, you'll see my full experience with 2 Air New Zealand business-class flights: 2.5 hours from Sydney to Auckland and 14 hours from Auckland to Houston.

I always love to watch videos about NZ, as I 'm curious to know what first timers' preconceptions are, especially if they have visited the much bigger and wealthier neighbour (Australia) beforehand. AirNZ's controversial herringbone configuration in business class has the disadvantage of everyone's unsightly feet being exposed. However, it has the advantage of having enough space and room to lie down that everyone's unsightly feet are exposed. Even though I personally wouldn't mind it, it's the most recurring criticism I've seen of AirNZ business class so I'm glad that the configuration is finally coming to an end.

Aww so sad to see the NZ videos are over. But you are very welcome to come back. You've got the South Island still to do. The two obvious places are Christchurch and Queenstown. It's quite confronting to see feet up over the seats. I bet you were tempted to poke them with your fork or throw a blanket over them 😂

Maybe not Christxhurch so much as an obvious place but there is so much visit, definitely Mt Cook, then Central Otago (Queenstown, Wanaka) Dunedin and if you can Mikford Sound.

After the Mount Erebus disaster and the way Air NewZealand id EVERYTHING they could to try to cover up their complicity in the disaster and obfuscate the investigation into the crash, I will never trust A.N. again. May be they have learned, maybe they are still like Boeing is now, today. I don't know. But as there are other airlines that fly to and from New Zealand, one has a choice, so I choose to fly with ANYONE else!
