Quick session this afternoon, didn't start fishing till bout 1:30pm left at around 5pm and had two Pike out.
So, I mainly hit the homemade spoon for a bit, I saw a tail on a Pike early on, but it didn't show on camera. The first Pike to a homemade spoon is not massive 2lb+ maybe, but it shows the spoons work. I had another Pike later on, off camera, that was likely around the 3lb mark to the Rapala Super Shadow Rap Perch Pattern. Interestingly I had a Pike last Friday on this lure and a couple follows around the locations Melvin was having Perch. So this week I remember where all my Perch follows were and then used the Rapala at these locations on way back to car and yep Pike had it. If there a lot of Perch in the stretch, idea is to use a lure that looks like a Perch...
