Thanks for the shout out! Always fun to see another brew meister. Too bad temur cascade didn't work out for you. Don't give up on it though, it took me a while to get familliar enough with it to do well in league.
Yeah I'll probably try it again at some point although I do like cascade walls better, it just feels a bit more powerful even if it folds more to creature removal.
Yeah I was real happy with how all ended up. Definitely still a work in progress but there was a lot of cool ideas here that worked. Just a lot of wheel spinning and not enough winning I think was the issue.
I would maybe take out red for this. When I tried Trinket Mage in my UW affinity list, I would mostly just get aether spellbomb. Really interesting idea. I love the interaction between Longbow and Blowgun, machine gunning down creatures seems awesome :)
Also, probably not enough lands in this one. Usually affinity has 19 lands + some amount of springleaf drums?? (At least UW affinity does, no idea what grixis does)
I just like the interaction that Galv Blast provides. When you change to white then you lose synth and then all the scry effects are bad so the deck looks entirely different. Longbow+Blowgun is probably pretty decent in UW though since that colour combo usually struggles with board interaction.
It's all about going fast and hoping they stumble. Destroying artifacts does make them stumble but my hands weren't fast enough even if I did blow up the prisms.
Fireslinger / Razorfin Hunter to leverage the deathtouch? Or possibly go Blue White to Ephemerate trinket mage, and then you can do silly stuff with Icathian Javalineers?
In Khans block? I didn't see it much at uncommon. I don't know anyone who actually did a commander masters draft. Actually it was in a Core Set (2020)? I remember it being pretty decent there.
Youst wow finaly! ive had this as a pet deck for over 5years, but i play leonin squire and lotus petal, only have 16lands and it works :P My deck is more tuned to 1mana and to abuse the low cost and fetch, only negative is its split in 4colours. But the new land that taps for 5c makes it more consistent, the deck also play ephemerate x4 and kenku x4 so its a flicker deck that abuse 1mana artifacts and deadly dispute card draw. Such a neat deck with many small combos, some x1 1mana artifacts can shut down a deck, and all 1mana artifacts in the deck have 4fetch copys (trinketM) and 4return from GY (leonin) Havent seen Renowned weaponsmith! Will try him out in the deathtouchping build of the deck thats heavy on toolkit shenanigans, might be the card that was missing since the equip cost was the problem.
If you are intrested in the deck here it is, realiced i can show it with ctrl+c - ctrl+v pretty neat deck! This is the most potent version i think, but have like 4 other win cons that performs diffirently, what i like is the x1 cards and the x1 cards in SB. Oh and this is one if not the only deck that can make opponent discard on drawstep over and over forcing them to draw an instant. I think the only card that can do this is 1 Necrogen Spellbomb MB 2 Ash Barrens 1 Drossforge Bridge 1 Goldmire Bridge 1 Island 1 Mistvault Bridge 1 Mountain 1 Plains 1 Razortide Bridge 1 Rustvale Bridge 1 Silverbluff Bridge 1 Swamp 4 Lotus Petal 4 Chromatic Star 1 Pyrite Spellbomb 4 Ephemerate 1 Blood Fountain 1 Boots of Speed 4 Experimental Synthesizer 4 Leonin Squire 4 Deadly Dispute 2 Fanatical Offering 1 Makeshift Munitions 4 Trinket Mage 4 Public Thoroughfare 1 Tormod's Crypt 1 Clay Revenant 4 Glaze Fiend 4 Kenku Artificer SB 2 Krark-Clan Shaman 2 Pyroblast 1 Tormod's Crypt 1 Aether Spellbomb 1 Gremlin Mine 1 Nihil Spellbomb 1 Sunbeam Spellbomb 1 Necrogen Spellbomb 1 Dispeller's Capsule 1 Executioner's Capsule 1 Viridian Longbow 1 Hunter's Blowgun 1 Spiked Pit Trap
@@Kirblinxy 1 in 10 games colour can be a problem, and some games you have to sacrifice value so you have 4c of mana on turn 2-4. But the new 5c land made the mana so much easier, worked well before to but now i rarely have problems. The low landcount is a problem 1 in 10games asweel but the deck opperates well aslong as it has 4mana available so it can cast 3drops after Esynth instead of missing. If you have the cards i highly recomend to give it a go, the decks engine realy works well with all the pieces.
The only problem with having a trinket mage package is that there is so many things you can put in. I thought both Gingerbrute and Campfire could be reasonable 1-ofs but didn't have the room.
Props for going full mad scientist mode, realizing the theory doesn't work, and sharing it with the world anyway!
That's my favourite thing to do in magic. Aside from realising that it doesn't work

@@Kirblinxy yeah the walls one has conistency and speed going for it, but how many full art bordlerless cards can you run in it?
@CosmicCharles466 I don't think you've seen too many of my videos. My decks have so many random mismatched versions and not many full arts 😅
oh my fave limited archetype in pauper? hell yeah!!!
That was awesome! many cool interactions, witching well was a great addition! the amount of scry in this deck makes synthesizer absurdly powerful

Respect for the failed experiment, so relatable x)
But was it really a failure if we learnt something along the way? 🤔
Before you explained it in the deck tech I saw where this was going. I had the same realization ;)
Who knew that reading the card explained the card? Not I apparently.
With the deathtouch ping combo, you really need a hexproof creature. Saiba Cryptomancer looks spicy.
Fair. Steelfin Whale was another option I thought of to get multiple kills off a turn. Probably not great if it just dies straight away though.
I would maybe take out red for this. When I tried Trinket Mage in my UW affinity list, I would mostly just get aether spellbomb.
Really interesting idea. I love the interaction between Longbow and Blowgun, machine gunning down creatures seems awesome :)
Also I might put in longbow for my normal UW affinity list. So many 1/1s that give you trouble :(
Also, probably not enough lands in this one. Usually affinity has 19 lands + some amount of springleaf drums?? (At least UW affinity does, no idea what grixis does)
Sunshot militia seems great against fog decks specifically.

Always good to see brews! I think against poison storm you need to rely more in killing their artifacts.

1st round opponent was a paid actor.
Man, even I couldn't have scripted some of those plays.

Lots of different ways to go and am unsure which is the way to do it.
Before watching- renowned weapon smith was dope in draft

Deck looks cool. 4 colours makes me a little concerned about mana issues. I like Squire + Fountain engine, haven't used that for a while.

Why’s the dredge guy playing other decks? lol jk
Got to have more than one deck. Need to keep the opponents guessing.
