I remember learning that Amerigo Vespucci was the one who discovered America, in my history book. I don't remember learning about the cruelty of Columbus though. I think children need only minimal information on history when they are young. It's good to learn more when they grow up, because that's when they would've developed a better mindset that can accept or process such mature information. Until then, History books must strictly contain facts alone. This video was amazing and an eye-opener for me. Helped me learn more about Columbus whom I remember reading as a one liner in History.
