- Sound effects of The Huntress lullaby... you know that creepy lullaby that the Huntress hums out loud. Sound effects lullaby from the horror video game Dead by Daylight. The name of the lullaby is a Russian song called "Bayushki Bayu". Huntress is from the dlc "A Lullaby for the Dark".
Her humming is low key the sweetest I’ve ever heard. Anyways, lemme drop this pallet on her real quick.

Cause the Hillbilly was abused by his parents and he was treated like shit, Wraith didn’t know he was serving as an executioner for a Mafia gang and accidentally killed the innocent, Huntress’ mother died while they were hunting Elk, and she sang her favorite Lullaby, and the Spirit’s father was a psycho who killed her mother, got her arms and leg cut off, and covered in glass. Their backstories are the reason why they are the way they are, and you have sympathy toward them.

Her Name is Anna and She live in the Russia Kingdom during in the great war. When she was a little girl she live with her Mother in the cold forest where she lern to survive. On day she go hunting with her mother and they found a moos. The moos attack Anna but her mother save her. The moos hurt her and she going to die and she hold Anna in her arms and sing this song. Now she live alone and hunt alone but she was bored to hunt rabbits and mouses so she began ro hunt dangerous animals like bears or wolfes. She live many years alone and forget that she is a human and one day some camper go in her forest. She thoug that are animals and begun to hunt them and she love it. But she never kills the little girls. She wish to get a daugter and take the girls to her home but they all die because it was to cold so she begun to go in the villages and slaugt the people and take the girls. When the great war begun their was no more village people only german and russian soldias. And so the legend from the monster women from the forest who "eat" girls die and no one know was happend with her.

well see the first part with the voice cracks and everything is her starting to go mad likes shes still sad but still normal person but as the song goes on and she starts laughing every now that's her getting crazier and the end part with her laughing like a mad woman is her letting go and going full mad
But she's not really as crazy as the other killers. She was born in the wood and taught to hunt with no socialization apart from her mother. So when the mom died she went off to hunt other creatures including humans. To her though they aren't the same as her and are just food she must hunt
To me it sounds like she doesn't want to cry and that's why she hums. Her voice sounds sad in the last bits in my opinion 🐰

She bring kids back from the village and put on a bunny mask for them to make them feel as if they didn’t have anything to fear. She saw herself in all of the little girls which is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. One, she wanted to be like her mother and care for a child. And two, she didn’t know how because of how traumatized she was when her mother was slaughtered by an elk they were hunting and her mother sang her her favorite lullaby, as the light faded in her eyes...

i love the way it embodies a sirens call and how it’s meant to lure you to your demise. the hum itself is so ethereal and soothing… up until an axe gets thrown in your face
This might be a sign for something bad in the future but my daughter was being really fussy one time and wouldn’t go to sleep. So on a whim I started humming this and 5 minutes later she’s knocked out for the rest of the night. Also her middle name is Morregan, named after...Celtic, I think, goddess of war. So yeah probably doesn’t bode well for anyone who pisses her off when she gets older.
