Nicole, this is exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you! All of the poses I’ve seen other photographers do in their videos, but none of the talks about the aperture they are using or shutter speed or some of the nuts and bolts things you’ve mentioned here. I’m doing my first couples shoot next month, and this was really quite helpful for someone who does headshots more than anything. You’ve helped decrease my anxiety some, lol!
I’d love to hear more about your thought process on aperture and lens choice (which I know depends on a lot of different factors like focal length and distance to the subject), but no one really talks about how they make these choices.

I photographed a wedding a couple of years ago where the groom was shorter than the bride. It was my first wedding, too. I felt so limited on how to pose them, but I really tried my best. 😄🤷🏽‍♂️

Hi @DavidStella. That sounds like a tricky situation for your first wedding. I hope it turned out okay. Having a big height difference can make wedding poses difficult! It's a good idea for another video:)
