Actually, according to the most recent DNA research, the people who live in Poland today have still very much in common with the people who lived in this area in the Bronze Age, so the theory about the Slavs coming from the East in the 6th century doesn't stand its ground.

I am Polish and I have done two DNA tests - one from Ancestry and the other one from 23andMe. I have found that I am over 80% Eastern European, few percent of Scandinavia, over one percent of Great Britain and less than one percent of Mongolia.

The book “THE HORSE, THE WHEEL, AND LANGUAGE: How Bronze-Age Riders From the Eurasian Steppes Shaped the Modern World.” By David W. Anthony. (Illustrated. 553 pp. Princeton University Press. $35, was published in 2008). It gives good scientific arguments, which are in agreement with the old mythology of Poland and with existing linguistic evidence. Baltic Sea was sometimes called the Slavonic Sea or “Morze Słowiańskie.” The Balto-Slavs are known to have lived on the shores of the Baltic Sea as far back as nearly 4000 years ago according to genetic evidence and carefully time-dated DNA studies.
According to the linguists, some 3500 years ago, the Balto-Slavic language separated from the Arian language in which Sanscrit texts were written in India. Then 500 years later it divided itself into the Baltic and the Slavic family of languages. During the next 1500 years the Slavic family of languages was developing in parallel with other families of related languages such as Baltic, Celtic, Germanic Hellenic, Iranian, Kurdish, Latin, and Sanskrit among other families of Indo-European languages.

SOuL SzUN There may be different types of theories of when the Slavs came or from where. But in the end blood test that are shown in the video prove how the Slavic identity is interconnected today.

Actually there are new DNA research showing that Poles are natural inhabitants of these lands and autochtons. The strongest R1A1 gen is in polish lands.
Most german and austrian land were slavic lands. DNA confirm that. Celts in western Europe and Lechs (original polish tribes) in eastern Europe are kind of european indians.
Germams is completly artificial country. 45% Celts R1B1, 35% Slavic R1A1 and some nordic gens.
Germany was called Holy Roman Empire of german volk and probebly was established by Rome/Popes in part of eastern and western Europe to control whole continent. We are still govern by Rome/Waticano.

I can agree that Upper Silesia is very "Germanic" but Lower Silesia has been populated mainly by people resettled from so called "Kresy Wschodnie"/Easter Borderlands (today's Ukrainian's territory) after WW2. They were originally Polish therefore I believe that no one on Lower Silesia wouldn't like the idea of "breaking away from the rest of Poland.

southern poles are darker not because of a huns but because of an atlanto mediteranean group which was there long before slavs(indo europeans ) came,,

marek800m As you've probably heard before the bronze age connection is very likely with the Scytho-Sarmatians that inhabited the territory, and most likely became a very large portion of the Slavic genetic make-up.

Interesting video about the Polish ancestry. Talking about "Where did the Poles come from", I would like to add a detail which has been mentioned in the book "The History of the Romanian People" by the famous Romanian historian Nicolae Iorga : he states that the Poles were living in today...Romania about 3500 years ago. Due to the Greek expansion, some of the Thracians moved up North beyond the Balkan Mts (the "- dava" Thracians). Later on, c. 1200- 1250 BC, after the fall of Troy, the Greeks knew another pushing North era and the Thracians crossed the Danube River pushing away the Slavic inhabitants (not yet called Poles; this name was born in today Poland sometime). The Thracians took over their land and became known in History as Dacians (a Thracian offshoot, the "- dava" Thracians), while those Slavs moved North to Western Ukraine and beyond. From this point on, you know the ancestry of your people. They mixed up with the local inhabitants and the others who came across those lands as Goths, Huns, etc. For that reason, there is no surprise the Poles "are so different from one region to the next" (min. 0:21). Min. 0:57 - Percentage of light hair in Europe - taking a look to the map, I think it has been bulit more on logical impressions rather than reality. For example we find more natural blond people in Romania than in Hungary, despite what they think about it. Min. 1:39 - no wonder Germany before WWII had those 2 crab arms in Silesia and Pomerania as easily seen on this map due to the lack of Kaszubi people. Min. 2:32 - I would like to mention here that the names "Huns" and "Hungary" have nothing in common, but a simple concidence. Hungarians do not call themselves "Hungarians", but Magyars. The origin of the "Hungarian" name has been explained by Anonymus in his work "Gesta Hungarorum / Deeds of the Hungarians", and it is as follow : while invading Pannonia in 895 AD, the Hungarians conquered, destroyed and remained for 7 years in the fortress of Hung or Ung (today Uzhhorod in Western Ukraina) and for that reason, the Bulgarian ruler Salan (Simeon I the Great or one of his important nobles) ironicly called them "Hung-ars"...well, from a taunt to an unwanted & timeless label ! Min. 3:15 - well, only the Hungarians think they are 100 %...pure Hungarians. Of course, they are 100 % wrong, but they do not know it yet.

+ROMANABSOLUT Errata : instead of "1200-1250 BC" will be read as "1250-1200 BC". In Old Romanian language, my grandparents for example, called a Pole as "Leah" ("Leshy" = Leşi, for plural).

Very well done! I think that many Jews such as my family intermarried a lot more than one might think, given that many Jews have Polish last names and many Poles today have at least one Jewish grandparent. I consider myself both Jewish and Polish though.

Who invented it? According to old records Germanium, Turks and a few other \ "old \" of states which it is possible to find in the Internet, (there are even links to these recordings) it results that we are here for over 4500 years (Slavs, pouring, Lechici). 4500 years ago somebody mixt something in our DNA, but results from this DNA that we pouring we are Slavs in the 100% and closest to us Russians and Ukrainians, but this age have when we are on this land is much longer. It appears from information which it is possible there also to read that Vikings which were stationed established Moscow and cooperated in forest clearings and with Logs (no Russian will deny it, are even proud of the fact that they are descendants of Vikings)

@1:54 It says: "Jews have also settled in Poland, but because of a difference in religion they have intermixed minimally."
WHAT? Only a "difference in religion"? WRONG. Jews are Jews because of blood, i.e., genetics. Not only did the National Socialists say that but Jewish leaders as well. So please stop propagating this falsehood.

In beginning middelage there hasnt` been "Slaves", only "Sclaveni" which means Nonchristians.
There too hasn`t been a slave language.
Polish History is a only fairytale.
Adult people should be more critical.
