Thanks for mentioning the tip for lathering out of the container it comes in. I travel a lot and I dont use a bowl, so im always wo dering how it mixes inside the container

Great Shave Angelo! MacDuffs is one of my favorite Artisans and the V4 base is 👌. Autumn Cabin is a wonderful scent.
I definitely agree with your comments on preference for lather with a Straight Razor. I much prefer a highly hydrated, low structure, dense lather vs the poofy lather. I can use both types but definitely ha e the same preference as you.

I have never used MacDuff's shave soap before but I've heard good things about it. I still have about 2 years' worth of Lothur Grooming soap to get through before I decide on my next purchase. My favorite blade is the Gillette Platinum. Nice and sharp yet very smooth. I bought about 6 1/2 years' worth because the plant in Russia shut down. That will give me lots of time to figure out which blade to use next. I have tried Feather but won't use them again. They are definitely the sharpest blade around but I find them too harsh for my face.
