- Sit back and enjoy this incredible transformation of my 2003 Cr250 from a clapped out MX bike to the Ultimate Supermoto!!! I had to put this all into one video just to show you guys how much work truely went into this project bike. In a future video I will do a walkaround and talk about all the mods and parts I used and what it cost. @@JourdonGulick haha true, probably would've started with a 4 stroke 450 in better condition for starters. But there is nothing like a two stroke sumo... now i know. Maybe a stator kit and battery for turn signals and a fan.

Well.. Mine started out as an 50cc 2stroke, built my own alu frame completely from scratch, with a 250 2stroke KTM engine, crazy enough? Used about 11,5k USD on it over 7 years!

FULL THROTTLE FILMZ quick question. And I'm not criticizing you in the least. You did a great job. My question is. Why nine months? Were you saving up and buying parts and then saving more to buy more? Or could only tackle it for a little bit each week?

The number one reason was constantly finding more issue and more parts to buy then waiting weeks to get them since I built the bike in Mexico and almost all the parts came from USA. I also had to learn and redo things as I built it. I could build another like this in 1-2 months I think. Thanks for watching.

i love honda too but but its 2 stroke is not as good as my 2010 ktm 250sx 2stroke lmao,but i do wanna get a 2000 year model honda 250cc and stick it in the 2016 or newer frame and have duel exhaust for a super moto or stick a ktm 300cc in the honda frame. those 2 would the my pic on a custom build if i had a welder :)

Thank you so much!! Yes I probably should've bought a new supermoto but this taught me how to do so many repairs and I am so glad I learned/had to struggle and build this bike by myself. Makes it way more special to me. Good luck with the GasGas repairs!

He used to say if you ride it for an hour you maintain for two hours he woz absolutely obsessed around it he wouldn't let me near it with a spanner.... He used say you maintain your practise bike leave me to maintain your race bike lol

StandardFish450 hahahha went through a war 😂 yes this bike had me FOOLED. I was in for countless surprises, but dam it taught me almost everything I could need to know on fixing a two stroke dirt bike.
How you can remember every screw and every part of them, i do this too and i forget it

Street tires on a dirt track 😂😂...sick build, i would have went with red instead of gold and black plastics instead of white but thats my preference. None the less it is a sick build tho, it turned out real good.

@@anglegrinderlover994 yeah, hence the street tires? supermotards I thought are for mostly road use, I never see them with off road tyres. Enduro style bikes that are more for off road, but still street legal, are the type that I tend to see have nobly tires?

Dude that would be absolutely insane! But I have to tell you this will be the last two stroke supermoto build because 4 stroke is just so much better for this application.
@@FULLTHROTTLEFILMZ You should get a cr500 engine to put on that bike. It would really compliment it. It may need some welding modifications though, i think it depends on the year of the frame.

Very satisfying to watch glad you added in the small mistakes you made along the way I'd imagine more than one of those work benches were needed to keep all those parts organized.
CxSMoto yes i really needed a lot more work space than just that table! But I’m working with what I got now, will have a full race shop in about two years. I wanted ppl to see the mistakes to show it’s real and hopefully tell them a better way to do something. Thanks man 👍🏼

The bike looks like it was only half of this project. The video it self and the editing is also top notch. Great camera angles and lighting. I'd be interested in seeing what you had more time in. Building the bike or creating the video. This is not some kind of grab your cell phone and watch me take my bike apart video. Very very well done! Glad to see you also use a small impact driver to disassemble. Best tool I ever bought. If you're going to be a serious mechanic it's a must. Almost all my air tools have been replaced with lithium-ion powered equivalents.
