FMIC give more power and are better for cars over 400 RWHP. IN these wrx cars its better to have a TMIC because less lag, and better power with less. If I ever go big Turbo or soemthing someday then a FMIC is best. I also do lots of canyon driving and all that dirt and dust would be getting into FMIC all the time. Freeway and high speed power FMIC all day though :). Appreciate the comment thank you
@@ChristianHudnell I didn't notice any additional turbo lag at all going to a fmic and the AIT's were far lower over the tmic. Top mounts just heat soak to easily. The key is to put the right size core for your turbo, I'm running a smaller 3" core with the stock turbo. We were able to pick up 15 whp just by adding the fmic and not changing anything else.
I love your splitter with the connectors. Could you tell me what brand and style they are? I’m looking into buying one myself but there are so many options
If it’s helpful at all... I just took my car to a reputable tuner to see about getting cold air intake, boost selonoid controller, and jpipe installed on my wrx and he estimated about 7-8 hours of labor at $110/hour
You'd want to get a radiator??? Dafuq is that nonsense. Almost all cars come with one. Did yours not? TMICs and FMICs don't keep your engine cooler as you stated. It appears you know nothing about engines. A "Cat Back exhaust is strictly from the back of the car[sic] to the exhaust". huh? You go on and on about all your suspension upgrades, but don't even have a tower strut bar. SMH
knurri haha every car comes with a “stock” radiator. But they work like trash. In Cali temps are always like 100. So like I mentioned getting a radiator keeps engine temps down. Turbos and Subaru’s don’t do well when car is warm and overheating. Many people don’t upgrade their radiator in Subaru’s but it’s an easy way to keep car driving under temps May not have phrased TMIC and FMIC right but I meant it lowers the temps of air going through the car, more air, more cold air, means more power and Efficient power. The cooler the car is and the cooler the air coming in means better efficiency, power, and durability for your Subaru
@@ChristianHudnell Well... you should have been more clear and said to get an "aftermarket radiator". Nowhere did you say that. You just said "get a radiator". How does a TMIC/FMIC "lower the temps of air going through the car" as you claim? My TMIC didn't make any difference to the cabin and trunk temps. "more air, more cold air" huh? You don't have a clue do you? How can the air be cooler when it's 100' outside? Where is the air coming into? The cabin? You don't realize you are all over the road in your explanations. Cooler air adds more durability? Ummm ok..if you say so.
knurri anyone who says “get a radiator” means an aftermarket one. It’s like saying “get an exhaust” even when all cars one. Air going through car meaning the powertrain, engine, etc With turbos and Subaru’s over heating often will make car less durable yeah
E-85 Flex Fuel Kit is honorable mention and as for as the WRX. Should be the first mod done for ANY POWER. Thank you for watching my video everyone
Thanks bro! Just got a 2017 wrx sti with 29,000 km. Building it to be reliable first before going power.
Ryan Geron thats awesome and amazing! You will love that car a lot congrats!
Ryan Geron that’s a great pick up bro, how’s it going for you now?
Dope ass camera work from 6:42 to 7:40! That shit looks like a movie clip... for real, for real!!!💪🙏🙌💪

saving up my money, im so excited
Awesome! Congrats
I like your build! I just ordered a Cobb cold air intake but I will also be looking at that AOS you were talking about.. thanks!
Wolfe that is awesome! Get an AOS for sure G. Thanks for viewing
Should of went with a fmic, even Subaru admitted a fmic is in the future to make more power because the tmic is a limiting factor.

I'm looking to MOD and I live in Cali as well but concerned about smog. What is your plan when the time comes?
Do I need a AOS on my stock sti?
Ralph Lauren an AOS even in a stock car is very beneficial. I would recommend yeah
SubZeru Vlogs but would I loose my warranty?
Ralph Lauren not with an AOS
Can someone tell me where he got the red “wrx” letter by the shifter that looks dope
If you don’t have it check subispeed and they should have something like this as options I think too
...vinyl stickers, model paint, even nail polish could work. The stickers are usually sold in a 2 pack in case you mess up on the first one...
Love this shit good video Bro 👍👍
GEORGE ROGERSON thanks a lot bro! I appreciate the support and for watching
2:10 where is the link? ahh Im sad now
The link shows up on the phone at top of screen. If on tv sometimes I don’t think it pops up
@@ChristianHudnell Oh lol I'm on a laptop I think that's why.. I love your subie how much power are you working with?
Did you upgrade the clutch when you added more power?
Alex Peguero I am still on the oem factory clutch
I love your splitter with the connectors. Could you tell me what brand and style they are? I’m looking into buying one myself but there are so many options
Thanks! I have the CS front lip and a custom front splitter by @KNG_WRAPS on IG
all starts with exhaust ends with stage 3 E85
Handsome Reis haha word! That’s what I did too to an extent
Or it blows up at stage 3 E85 level and continues on to a closed deck fully built big turbo wrx/sti 😆.
SubidooSTI Hahahaha true
What short throw shifter do you have ?
DAViDm Perrin short throw shift pitch stop and Perrin short throw
new wheels are AMAZING
Mystxry thanks bro! Keep up the awesome music bro love using your stuff thanks again!
@@ChristianHudnell thanks so much man! much love!
What type of wheels are those
Forgestar f14 wheels
Did you get all this professionally installed?
Yeah I got them done at PK AUTO DESIGN. It is a very good shop
SubZeru Vlogs What’s the average price do shops charge for installations ?
Stephen Zhang hmmm depends on what services you doing. It all depends. But worth the price to get everything done right
If it’s helpful at all... I just took my car to a reputable tuner to see about getting cold air intake, boost selonoid controller, and jpipe installed on my wrx and he estimated about 7-8 hours of labor at $110/hour
Rebecca Corwin yeah around $100-$120 is usual labor rates for these cars for sure! Reasonable rates
Is this a re-upload?
No, first time I made this video
That's what I thought.
Hasn’t he done this already?
Spider-Man ``hmmm I did a top 10 mods video that didn’t have any of these mods in it I think :). Can’t remember
What muffler do you have on it ?
Adriel 1 I have a Tomei exhaust on the car
SubZeru Vlogs Nice ! Super clean car btw bro

dont say my name haha E85 flex fuel kit FOR SURE for the WRX is facts!
Wtf 🤣🤣
best mod ever for an STi
1: Sell it and buy an EVO
Hahahahaha too funny
...only problem with that, any Evo is a used one, and chances are high, abused and over-used. If it was that good, why did it go out of production?
K03sport both are cool
Cars for sure but finding good evos in good condition are hard to come across for sure.
