I'd love to see this thing stock, unmodified, just a casual daily driver, it looks clean, maybe fix the door card tearing for sure, fit a dash mat too to prevent the weird cracks on it when it gets hot, this is a very valid purchase, glad to see how far you take this car!
Keep it stock for a while and appreciate it while its pretty and perfectly functioning. I live in LA County and i get stopped by someone to talk every single time i take my car out lmaoo. Had mine stock until recently and its just OEM+. Got RPF1's, Koni Coilovers, OEM Chuki Sideskirts, and Z32 brakes.
Hey y'all, thanks for watching! I got OEM Chuki skirts from UpGarage, a Type X rear valance from Dorki Dori, and a sharknose lip. None of which have been installed because I really do enjoy this car stock. I know installing those will be the start to the rabbit hole, so I'm holding back for now. Should I keep it stock or go OEM+??
I got authentic OEM type rear valences in the matching red, original color in great condition. Let me know if you want to ditch the reps and go with the real deal.
every 180sx is modified these days, it's a cooler car as is these days. everything has been done to this chassis already. it's a bigger flex having a completely untouched example.
Keep it stock!! I bought a clapped 240 in 2016 thinking I was cool. I’d kill to restore my turd back to OEM spec. Aftermarket parts are a dime a dozen, keeping the OEM stuff is priceless
keep it stock bro that thing will take care of you fr in the future financially. you will regret it later if you start modding it. not a boomer just love to see a stock 240 hatch instead of modded at all, collectors piece for sure
dont do mods that will make it worse for cruising and daily driving or add failure points to the car. hell before doing any mods just refresh the entire thing. every bushing every fastener etc. like a halfway restomod of sorts. tasteful wheels, new tires, headlight restoration, paint touch up, a nice full detail. just think of how hard it is to find something like this again
It's great as a daily driver. I have a Honda Element too and the MPG is about the same. I used to daily a 1996 240sx for a few years in college and it was extremely reliable.
@@cyrilsoliman 90’s Japanese cars are just the best in terms of reliability and performance. I saw a 240sx for sale just like yours stock but with a welded differential for $1200 8 years ago. I wish I just got it but don’t know if a welded diff would be annoying for daily driving.
Sorry Linda but the car getting kitted out fasho 😭🙏
idk why it made me laugh so damn much XD
DONT TOUCH IT
or put it up on BAT and make bank
smart asf

@@_s_smokey I got a dash mat! Definitely a must.

As long as you dont cut and drill holes or other irreversible mods i think you should mod it. Keep it clean and "wholesome" though
keep og parts nearby aswell
Right never so oem plus s chassis anymore
see
Meaningful upgrades make most sense, good wheels and tires, suspension business and some under the hood business.
please keep it stock broooo 🙏
I'm trying really hard to resist modding haha

Man I would keep it clean like it is, maybe just some coils and keep those wheels please. OEM+ build
now slam it on it's nuts and put an obnoxious muffler on it + a tow hook for the tracks it never sees

There could’ve been pigs and ufos flying in the background of this video and I would not have noticed.

Looking at the comments most people don't appreciate stock cars for what they are
How is it as a daily driver? Are these fuel efficient? I would just keep it stock maybe put in a new motor if I have the money.
