What do you think the biggest change is coming from Seattle? I just got accepted to BU and I am from a city a little north of Seattle and dont known if I am going to attend BU yet.
Hi Elyse! The biggest change? The weather. It's MUCH colder! Other than that, Boston reminds me a lot of classic Seattle. Don't overthink distance, either. You can't ever really tell how far you are from home, especially since Boston will welcome you with open arms. Boston and Seattle remain two of my favorite cities, and I'm sure you'd agree! Jake Brewer I will be visiting Boston for the multicultural weekend April 5th-7th to see if it's really somewhere I'd like to go. Definitely my biggest struggle right now is the concern that I won't be happy with BU and wish I went to UW since it is considerable less expensive to attend.

Hey I have a few questions cause I gonna move into Warren single dorm this year! So I see you have the single room, so does every single room have that TV?? Well, I hope I can have it, lol. And I'm a little worry that living single room is isolated and can't make many friends.

What's the best freshman dorm at Boston university?
it depends on what you're looking for! warren is really great if you want to be close to classes and have a social living experience. the common rooms on each floor bring everybody together and it's closer to downtown. west is great if you prefer something more out of the city and proximity to the athletic services. hope this helps!
This video helps A LOT with what I should bring to BU. Couple questions, I see that you have blenders and the sort but how do you wash it? Do you wash everything in the bathroom or is there a common kitchen area?
Hi Tommy! So glad this video could help you with move in coming up. Yes, there was a common room on essentially every floor of Warren where I always did my dishes. Other dorms only have bathrooms to do them. Just have a sponge and soap ready to go! I went to the common room and did my dishes daily. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Jake Brewer would you recommend that I rent the MicroFridge combo? Or bring my own fridge?
Hey! You technically aren't allowed to bring your own. Honestly, renting one is a pretty great deal! You have both a fridge and microwave, they set it up for you, and you don't have to worry about moving it at the end of the year. Plus, it saves you the stress of hiding your own from your RA. I recommend splitting the cost with your roommate. It's plenty big for both of you to use it.
