I like how Yi Sang and ish have their modified EGO cutscene at the end of their canto and it's basically to represent their character development and will to go forwards. Instead we get heathcliff's mid canto and it's him sinking to his lowest low. Also props to his VA, you can feel his anger and despair during the EGO cutscene. Curious to what will they cook for part 3

Spoiler for the end of that chapter. I finished the Nelly fight with Meursault's EGO, only to see him use it in the cutscene following. I was so confused, because it didn't look any different or anything. I thought it bugged until Meursault started talking.
We got it early cause he didn't achieve anything and instead is just sinking deeper and giving into his wrath, which is why corrosion warning lines appeared near the damage counter
One cool detail, at 0:10 the sin affinity changes to wrath and the EGO UI is replaced with the corrosion UI (the text that says warning in the bottom right)
Holy FUCK the voice acting here is good, genuinely surprised that they took one of the default egos that i deemed the goofiest and managed to make it badass and harrowing at the same time

A common strategy! Library of Ruina was the same. Against 1 or 2 enemies bringing less people can help you clash a lot more and increase emotion/sanity faster.

Like I know I get it, golden Apple doesn't have anything to do with Gregor, but I would just LOVE if he'd just did his ego as a final send off to Yuri, it would be hard to do for rodya cause you don't really fight baba yaga nor defeat it, but it would 100% fit Sinclair in canto 3
